excellent way to fact check things written by ChatGPT
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is very good at finding references for pretty much any fact you can throw out it or telling you if there are no references to support such a fact.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not a tool I would use to write content. It’s very much aimed towards answering questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
chatGPT hallucinates. Perplexity allows me to easily check things that ChatGPT has said or written so I can determine whether it’s hallucinating or whether the information is accurate.

What do you like best about the product?
I like perplexity for its foundational commitment to merge comprehensive knowledge with verifiable sources. This is mostly effective as a research partner. Its capacity to search the web from diverse sources is awesome. I also love the user friendly interface of the platform where user can optimize its effectiveness just from a single exposure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perplexity is a powerful tool but the drawback also comes from its greatest strength that is its reliance on web sources. Its answers can sometimes lack the profound depth, creative synthesis, or some philosophical reasoning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me a lot in marketing research as it provides most of my requirement in doing a deep search. It also assist me in providing a good report with better efficiency and effectiveness.
Perplexity deep research is very exhaustive & detailed
What do you like best about the product?
I always have been a fn of perplexity because of Aravind. Plus it was one of the first ones to give sources along with answers. Now I primarily use for deep research or just quick chatting. I like their app, as its pretty neat. They also launched live stock charts & other features recently which i use on a day to day basis
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike yet, just that hallucinations are still present
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Deep research reporting with sources. highly helpful for thesis work or industry understanding
2. Multiple different models to choose from, hence I get the chance to test out LLMs and check the best one for me
3. Live stock trading charts helping me get a track of Exchanges.

- A Good interface to easily navigate different sections and features.
- Perplexity Spaces are impressive. I can create a custom agent with specific instructions for any topic and leverage advanced tools like Search, Deep Research, and Lab to perform high-level operations.

- While the platform is strong, it lacks a strong multi-step memory context across sessions for complex tasks.

It reduces research time with real-time, sourced answers and unifies my workflow via Spaces. It's is like a custom NotebookLM with extra needed features.
No better way to perform complex research tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Perplexity is second to none when it comes to deep and complex research and complex multi-step tasks. And I love that I can use other LLMS like ChatGPT and Claude right from within Perolexity
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it did a better job with creative writing tasks. Despite having access to Claude, it just doesn’t cut the mustard. Also it stinks for image generation.

Using Perplexity Lab Queries , we can generate projects , websites , literally everything from scratch . I am a airtel user , so i have perplexity pro at free of cost

It is bad at generating human like responses and it's voice bot forgot previous information

Sometimes the answers feel a bit too short or repeat the same points, especially on tricky subjects where I want more depth without asking a million follow-ups. I've noticed occasional mix-ups with facts, so I always double-check the sources, which can slow me down. The pro version costs $20 a month for extras like uploading files, but it feels steep if you're not using it every day. Also, customer support could be quicker, I've waited a bit for help on minor glitches. Integration with other tools isn't seamless yet, and while it's user-friendly, adding more ways to customize the experience would make it even better.

Best of all? You have access to quality papers, relevant sources listed and even videos suggested for whatever you wanna search. Perplexity is fantastic as it switches between models to optimize data usage and deliver excellent results. That said, if you have a very good question such as: the downside effect of using moisturizer daily... Instead of getting listicles and a bunch of advertorials as you would get on Google, you get invaluable key insights, scientific backed data and follow-up questions to make your content even more relevant and powerful.
