What do you like best about the product?
ability to configure it to handle new processes. That everything is kept in the database, even the xml.

app designer could be a tad less finicky

Maximo Lock Out Tag Out

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to associate LOTO with Assets, Locations, Job Plans and Work Orders
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little confusing when building Safety Plans. when trying to add LOTO.. It doesn't seem to display LOTO in reverse order. It's difficult to assign associated assets and incorporate them into LOTO

What do you like best about the product?
The Maximo platform allows us to provide our users wtih the tools they need, where they are, when they are there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI tends to be very soft, light black characters on a gray background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single application stack to provide multiple business processes. We use Maximo for everything from work management to purchasing, and IT ser vice.

When it comes to asset management, Maximo is the right tool. Highlights financial, operational and work orders to keep things simple.

What do you like best about the product?
MAximo have user-friendlly UI, a problem we had with our previous CMMS. Apps are very useful aswell. chance of quick upgrades are one big deal we needed. Work Orders easyness for completion are very appeling to technicians and planner & schedulers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to know SQL for create reports, a thing just our IT team have ability. Upgrades made by IBM are in production and maintenance periods. so we're out of CMMS during that upgrades.

What do you like best about the product?
Meeting new people who can benefit from my experiences with Maximo and vice versa.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hearing some presentations that only give solutions using a paid consultant or product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning how to better execute materials managemet. We are more ahead of the game than I thought we were, which is nice to know.

Maximo: A Useful Tool Once You KNow How To Use It

What do you like best about the product?
Maximo is customizable and adaptable to your business needs. I enjoy that there are many aspects that can be used from Maximo straight out of the box and that it can also be used with add-ins. There are different options for reporting which is great for analyzing various data points.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are too many "clicks" involved in getting scheduling done (although this could be a training issue more than it is an issue with the software).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our big project now is getting the Materials Management module set-up. We have never taken a formal inventory of our materials before, so we haven't been monitoring Total Cost of Ownership. I believe the module is really going to help us get on track.

What do you like best about the product?
The way it connects all your maintenance assets with everything also it is very easy to understand and very adaptive
What do you dislike about the product?
Some add ons like scheduler, reports on birt are a little bit ugly and this makes other companies take advantage of this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The lack of work order history we had, to be able to have everything on one system standarized. The benefits of this is all in one place and the way it communicates with our people.
