Excellent Platform - Excellent Team!
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to use UI enables us to onboard Junior Analysts more effectively, and ensure that they can impact existing complex workflows without the requirement of advanced automation knowledge!
Additionally, the rollout time for new features is unparalleled. I dont know of another vendor that provides revolutionary platform updates at the same rate as the Tines Team!

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can recall. From a technical perspective, I can mold the platform into creating whatever use-case I want. The customer support and experience teams are fantastic at making my ideas come to life.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tiens enables us to automate complex Incident Response processes and workflows to allow our Analysts to focus on other priorities. Decreasing time spent in an investigation is critical, and having the ability to increase our efficiency in a platform that provides a very low barrier to entry for automation, is a must.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Tines provides an excellent suite of automation building blocks, users are required to create their own structures or playbooks from scratch. This can be daunting for teams without a well-defined strategy.
The reporting functionality also leaves room for improvement. Current reports focus heavily on metrics like time saved, but they lack depth when it comes to tracking cases or outcomes—a feature that would be highly beneficial for monitoring operational impact more comprehensively.
Lastly, although Tines markets itself as being well-suited for MSSP models, this functionality feels underdeveloped and incomplete. While it may be a promising area of future growth, it’s not yet robust enough to fully meet the needs of MSSPs.

Easy, Complete, and Comprehensive SOAR
What do you like best about the product?
The Tines platform provide an easy to use interface to drag, drop, and connect actions to create simple work flows. Tines incorporates templated actions for many security related tools APIs. Formulas and functions provide additional implementation techniques to create comprehensive workflows. Tines support is always quick to respond and provide some sort of assistance or pass the issue over to the Tines engineer
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Tines is not a start up, they are still lacking in complexity in the platform to build out specific actions. This is changing all the time due to the speed of the Tines Engineering and Development teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized location for ticket management, coupled with workflow automation for daily activities.
Automation Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Great no-code SOAR solution, super easy to use UI, and able to integrate with any service we use. Getting started couldn't be simpler and within a couple of weeks you will already see improvements. Customer support is top notch, always helpful and available, and whenever I've had an issue, they've been able to help me out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some services better suited with vendor's own solutions, i.e. power automate for microsoft services, but tines still has great integrations for microsoft, just a little bit more fiddly. Apart from that, I have found myself wanting to automate everything else possible with tines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Been able to fully automate and integrate our SIEM with our IR flow. Saves an incredible amount of time and allows me focus on more important issues.
I recommend to Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
I like the api call functionality. I use it as middleware between dissparite systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Short on documentation. Many of the functions are not well documented, or are not documented at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can do data modelling and custom reporting, without needing specialty software.

Tines - Supercharge your Automations
What do you like best about the product?
We love how easy it is to perform API integration with Tines. The initial setup for an integration included with Tines is a breeze and the templates accelerate the process of development such that an automation that took a days now takes minutes.
Tines design also means that data manipulation, execution flow, and documentation can be built or modified with very little overtime. It saves us from getting bogged down with the maintenance of one-off scripts and management of what would otherwise be a labyrinth of cloud based interdependencies.
The provided data functions are simple and to the point, but can be used in conjuction with one another to perform very complicated operations. The records feature makes it very easy to maintain and track the state of execution when many different integrations are being used, eliminating the need for a supporting database.
We use our automations daily, and the customer support is outstanding.
Highly recommend!

What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation for the advanced functions of Tines is often lacking, and if one of our users is unfamiliar with them it can be difficult to realize their full potential
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated alert resolution
Alert/incident lifecycle monitoring
Collection of log data needed to inform our incident investigations
Ingestion, synthesis, and prioritization of security advisories

Great low-code/no-code automation platform for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Tines is how quickly we can create new automations. It doesn't require a coding background, so it is really easy for anyone to think of a use case and then work out some automation to accomplish it. Also, Tines' use of AI is the most helpful of any tool I've seen. It does real work and helps in real ways. It isn't merely for show, like most tools right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes learning Tines formulas can feel a bit like learning to code, but their new AI action does an amazing job of addressing that. You seriously just connect an action, point it at the data, and tell it what you want to happen. Then the data just comes out in the format you needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tines to handle all of our alerting now. Tines connects to each of our security tools (and mailboxes), then sends alerts to MS Teams channels to notify our team based on severity. We're able to monitor more things with less frustration, which has led to less burnout among the team. We also use Tines to integrate tools that can't integrate out of the box. For example, Tines gets all the currently signed in hosts on VPN and then adds DNS records in our IPAM solution. It runs on a schedule and deletes records when the user disconnects. Before Tines, that was a separate manual lookup our team had to make, and tools that could only connect by hostname just couldn't find devices on VPN.
Bring Ideas to Life
What do you like best about the product?
Tines has given us the power to turn those "what if's" into reality. The logical workflow makes it easy for beginners to immedietly start building, and when we've run into roadblocks the team at Tines has been super responsive. The use case library is a great open-source catelog of not only ideas but fully functioning stories that we've used as a brainstorming resource for our own organization. We really enjoy how creative and nimble Tines allows us to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if there was a bit more admin level logging in Reporting, such as AI credit counts, recent changes, story count, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pre Tines, if a member of the team had an automation/ orchestration idea, that would typically run through a project managment processes involving the help of a developer. With Tines, the same member of the team can project manage and build the automation themselves. It gives alot of flexibility and control to the people who are closest to the problems they are trying to solve.
