Excellent Customer Service and Terrific User-Friendly Site
What do you like best about the product?
The response from the customer service staff on email was amazing and quick! I needed help for my clients and was able to turn that help around in seconds. My customers tell me they are very pleased with how easy it is to fill in their reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I have had wonderful service from WizeHive Zengine staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining our application and review process is critical and very smooth with this product. I also like that we can see historical and current data in one place.
Bright Funds Review
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to give back to organization in need. User friend interface is also helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Had many questions during initial requst to add new organization
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving back an organization that is highly in need. I have also gotten my Cisco team engaged and giving back.
Highly recommend using Bright Funds!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to support non-profit organizations that are important to me, and having my donations matched through Bright Funds!
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a long time for my non-profit org of choice to be added to the list (1 year), but it was worth the wait. I can now make donations knowing that future donations will be matched (to a maximum amount).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My non-profit org of choice has faced tremendous downturn due to Covid-19 (like many others), so it's great to know that I can help them in some way and that my donations are essentially doubled through this matching program.
Great provider for Company Match!
What do you like best about the product?
We partnered with Bright Funds to match up in donations across multiple organizations and initiatives that our employees care about. We liked that we could create a Bright Funds campaign. It was very intuitive and easy to set up! We also enjoyed working with our strategic partner, David. Thank you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were inspired by how so many of our employees mobilized to positively change their communities and the world over the past months. We wanted to empower them all as individual changemakers and accelerate their impact over time. Benefits took many forms, and our employees helped shape that with the donation matching program's launch.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is very user friendly. The team there gives you a lot of resources and is generous with their time and attention when it comes to questions and concerns. I felt equipped to use the software and it's various useful capabilities after all of our training sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface for applicants isn't as sleek as one would like, but for us it isn't that big of a deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our application process before WizeHive was largely mail/email based, so this gives us a lot of flexibility to have all of our applicants in one database and receive recommendations, reviews, and tax documents in one space. The ability to communicate with all of our applicants via the system is a huge plus, as well.
Excellent all-in-one platform!
What do you like best about the product?
My team appreciated how centralized the system was. The on-boarding team, especially Dakota, was such a pleasure to work with and had a great way of unpacking the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on the number of users we had (for us number of panelists reviewing applications) and the number of submissions, the price tag was higher than anticipated.

Easy to track and manage applications for grant programs. Great to have application assessments in one place with actual application and additional forms.
Hands on service, but expensive

service is amazing. I appreciate the set up help.

cost is prohibitive for smaller organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of savable accounts to submit and also to review is a big problem solved! The benefits are that I can use this service for more than my one initial project, it's a good fit for another as well. The ability to run reports is helpful as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not attempt to create as you learn. Learn first to avoid needing to redo or fix. Allow plenty of time for this learning.
A user-friendly platform for powering a grants program
What do you like best about the product?
My nonprofit used Submittable for running a small grants program and we're very pleased with the results. It was intuitive to use both for us and our grant applicants. I liked that we were able to create a simple landing page for our program within Submittable which made it easy to share with others. The application itself was simple to create using drag and drop field types. Our users had no problems filling out and submitting their applications and receiving notifications about their application status.
What do you dislike about the product?
With any powerful platform, there's a learning curve one needs to climb in order to understand and take advantage of all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Submittable is allowing us to operate a professional grants program that works well and reflects well on us and our sponsors.
Great application and scholarship management platform, but WAY too expensive for what you get.
What do you like best about the product?
The application submission and review process is great - very helpful when managing lots of applicants. Unfortunately, beyond that I am not finding much value to expedite our funding process. The system I had manually created using Google Sheet for donation tracking seems more efficient, as I have to go into multiple accounts every month and enter multiple scholarship payments. I guess if you are issuing and distributing one scholarship and never have to follow-up, it may make sense, but we deplete funds monthly for all of our scholarships, so it's bulky and time-consuming. The concept of the platform is great, but I have yet to understand why they charge SO MUCH for it. I can create something close in Airtable and pay 1/100 of the cost of Submittable.

The cost is too high for the features provided. See above.

The application submission and review process is helpful. I wish we weren't limited in the amount of reviewers/seats we could add (we can't afford to pay for more).

What do you like best about the product?
My team just started using submittable and so far we love it for a fellowship application we are developing. So far it is intuitive to use and the customer support is amazing.

Can be be seen as maybe alittle expensive

I recommend submittable
