What do you like best about the product?
Ability to build databases and export to get a report. Dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has no user-friendly front end, so users who are not familiar with data entry find it challenging to get their heads around how the linked forms work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have managed to combine a series of processes into one workspace.

What do you like best about the product?
WizeHive is incredibly useful for program management, thanks to its integrated portal editor/publisher, as well as the highly editable data display. And WizeHive's support staff are unfailingly helpful, no matter how large or small the question!
What do you dislike about the product?
The program and process architecture is intertwined to such a degree that minor changes can sometimes lead to instability (or deletion) of programs/processes. However, this risk is lessened as users grow in their experience with the platform, and the customer support team are invaluable to that end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WizeHive's ability to create externally-facing portals which link to granular, efficient, and highly malleable internal data sets is superb. It has been such a boon to our efficiency and the size of the scope in which our office can operate with a smaller staff.

Great customer service and team when problem solving

What do you like best about the product?
Though I joined our program team after they had already been working with Wizehive Zengine, the customer service in Wizehive is phenomenal. Not only did they walk me through the entire system they had built out with our team, they guided me to helpful resources, and are always there as a continued support if we are ever needing assistance, clarification, inquires on what is feasible and not, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wizehive is still building out a lot of great new features, based on the requests of their customers and their overall passion to continue to improve upon their platform. My main concerns are learning how to navigate the platform with the current limitations that does exist, and also wanting to make sure I am aware of the updates when they become available (often you need to request the plugin be put in).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
(see above). Overall, whenever I address a problem, concern, need, their team is phenomenal at providing all support they have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As you build out your platform, you will inevitably want to make edits for the following years. Think through and ask which portions will be easy to "edit" and adjust for your following years.

Simple, well designed, and intuitive, but lacks essential functionality

What do you like best about the product?
The scoring/reviewing experience with the split screen. The cleanness of the UI. How intuitive it is to create and edit forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
For us to continue using submittable, we need some key features to be added:
- a more powerful view/home dashboard that shows applications along with key responses and lets you sort and filter. Wizehive does this much better
- An ability to do multiple rounds of review and scoring, down-selecting to smaller sets of applications each round
- An ability to assign reviewers to concept notes based on certain criteria - for example, a reviewer would have expertise in a certain geography and would get matched to applications that are focused on or from that geography
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run annual open call for proposals process - submittable allowed us to receive applications from hundreds of organizations, and run a review/scoring process with a panel of ~30 reviewers. Submittable helped makes this process much less manual
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Only use submittable if you have a very basic open call for proposals process with only one round of review, and are willing to do most analysis and sorting offline in excel.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how flexible and user friendly Submittable is; It's pretty intuitive how to make a new application, and how to apply!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the price point, and how they make you pay for extra Submittable training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to move our application process from hard copy to fully online rather easily! This has really cut down on extra labor.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how helpful Customer service is. I also have had a great experience with using each different function in Submittable. Whenever I have an issue it is very easy to get help or get it fixed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in a while there has been a glitch or the web page doesn't connect. I also don't love how the reports for gifts work at the end of the month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great way to have everything in a centralized place. We have such a large University it makes it a lot easy to ensure it is all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it is a great resource that is easy to use, and has wonderful customer support, just explore it and know the best way to get a hold of the.

What do you like best about the product?
Setting up submission forms and running panels is so simple and easy to do. Also, Submittable has amazing customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The submitter information does not seamlessly merge with Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have several applications open at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it will work with your existing database.

Making My Work Easy!

What do you like best about the product?
I love having everything in one organized place. I can go back to each submission, never having to worry about missing a portion of their submitted project or proposal. The ability to make questions mandatory has made it so that our submissions are 100% complete. That eliminates manually contacting applicants regarding missing information. Before Submittable i accepted submissions via email. Inevitably someone would get lost in the shuffle, not anymore. We just utilized the Gallery View for the first time and I think this is a game changer for our graduate student poster contest. The gallery was so well received that we are planning to utilize this feature each semester. My sales team through the years has been terrific. Ashley Widtfeldt was instrumental in helping us get our gallery off the ground during a very stressful time for the university and our students. We love this product and the company support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to search by "additional forms" and I'd like a red color to show when they have submitted an additional form. The current color is too close to the original to really differentiate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

the Gallery View gave our institute the visibility of the entire university, more than a face to face event could accomplish

What do you like best about the product?
Submittable is easy to use and has good customer service. The product team is very responsive to their customers' needs.

It could have higher functionality for emailing and forms, but they are currently building those add-ons.
