Best quality video platform we've tried.
What do you like best about the product?
The video is high quality and actually reliable. The quality of video meetings was becoming a big issue for us. We had used other video meeting apps but even if they were easy to use, poor video / audio quality would often cause problems and make meetings much less effective. We went from only using video meetings as the last resort, to now relying pretty heavily on video every day to connect our offices across Scandinavia. We use it more and more with clients too.
What do you dislike about the product?
They don't currently have a chat feature, but they have told me this should be arriving very soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have offices spread out over Scandinavia, as well as partners in Ireland, so being able to move a chat thread jump onto video at any time helps us to solve problems and make decisions much quicker. It also gives our consultants much greater flexibility to work effectively and not stick to a rigidly a schedule of being in the office to work. It's easy to use for client meetings since we can just send people the link and they can join a meeting as a guest.
Simple cloud video solution - especially powerful for current endpoint owners.
What do you like best about the product?
Videxio features the most simple uncluttered user interface that I have seen on a solution. There are iOS and Android apps for the mobile experience. There is also a desktop app. But it can also be used in the browser or using Polycom software. Lots of flexibility
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited layout options. There are no changes to the screen layout currently. However, the gallery view that is standard is simple and clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a cloud service, it offers HD conferencing from any compatible endpoint. Recordin and streaming can be done free of charge via YouTube and any number of other services. In addition, the ability to run the Endpoint activation tool ensures that you can bring any Polycom or Ciso system in to the solution as a registered endpoint and provides firewall traversal, allowing you to have a secure environment when using your endpoint.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Always get a demo. Check with the reseller that they have shown you the activation tools and try out all the client options. There is a lot more to Videxio than appears at forst sight (especially because the interface is so deceptively simple). there is a lot of power behind this simplicity.
