Outreach is an easy tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it connects directly with my gmail

It isn’t that easy to track all of the emails sent in sequences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to connect to businesses to get clients. I have realized it’s helpful to send automated emails.

The ability to personalize the process in almost any fashion is a very positive attribute

A lot to learn, but well worth the effort.

Disciplined approach to prospect and client cultivation.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and intuitive interface. It is a set and forget way to reach out and buy hundreds of prospects at once. If you’re diligent you can load up dozens of sequences with various types of outreach emails. Then drop contacts in based upon your different communications status with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirks. There are a few places you have to go to set up emails and cloning and copying things could be easier. But in the last year the editing and options to spruce up emails has been made SO much better. It’s awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a one stop place to go for your prospecting needs. You call, drop a response email meet etc and you can track opens all without getting into Salesforce.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the interfaces, you have options to use in Gmail/Google Calendars or on a standalone web platform. Additionally, SFDC integrations make the tool more powerful and add value to sales management. Tracking for emails, calls, and meetings is centralized so Sales leaders can see a birds' eye view of the entire process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a steep learning curve, that comes naturally with any robust solution. Also, integrations, rules and syncing with Salesforce and other platforms can be daunting. Outreach.io does offer an onboarding offering, but we chose to try it alone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach enables us to track email communication effectiveness and prioritize our time and messaging where it is most effective. We have better transparency on the whole conversation and leverage insights to approach every new prospect more effectively.
Great at keeping you organized
What do you like best about the product?
Big fan of outreach. The SFDC integration is great and the ability to track my email opens helps a ton. You can also track clicks on content you send you can figure out who is engaging. The intelligence tiles assist in keeping company/prospect content to one screen to help make my outreach more efficient. You can easily disposition and add notes to calls which allows you to keep track of where you left off. It definitely allows you to scale your outreach to prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could organize all my contacts by prospect engagement. You can really only do this with prospects that have open tasks.
Sometimes the calls drop or the headset will disconnect. However, support is usually readily available so when those issues do occur you can usually get someone to help you relatively quickly.
They beta tested voicemail drop for a while, which I loved but then they took it away. Perhaps they will roll it out again soon but it was very helpful and streamlined reps workflows.

organizing outreach and being able to AB test subject lines and email content. Allows us to track phone calls and ensure that our reps are utilizing proper talk tracks with prospects.

Powerful, Game-changing sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach allows me to create a multi-pronged approach to prospecting and follow up that is personalized and scalable. I use it to create targeted messages to high value prospects and to nurture deals at each stage in my funnel. I have been able to achieve my annual quota in the first 4 months of the year because I can work twice as many deals at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar feature is a bit wonky. It doesn't play as well with Hubspot as I'd like. The Outlook plugin is also a bit behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to solve a volume problem so that we could focus on quality issues. Outreach solved that problem for us overnight. We are running at a fast clip now and can do A/B testing, open/click tracking and not worry about losing things through the cracks.
The other challenge we had was nurturing deals through the funnel with valuable, personalized content. We have a lot of content and have been able to create a large library of templates that can be deployed easily. We lose fewer deals because we are able to be consistent with follow-up

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering Outreach, I would recommend thinking about a list of processes that are currently manual that you would like to automate. Having this starting list will make your initial experience more powerful. Have some time set aside to watch the training videos so you can get the basics down.

I't gives me so much functionality and replaces other systems because it has everything under one roof

It is some times a lot to look at, the automatic voice mail greetings are fuzzy since theyre still in beta

they have helped streamlined many processes and helped me get more done in less time
Doesn't sync correctly with SalesForce

The concept would be nice - to have all your tasks, appointments, accounts, prospects, etc. in 1 place
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't match salesforce. SF says I have over 1,000 accounts, Outreach says I have 340. Some of the accounts in outreach aren't even mine and belong to my region lead in SF. Outreach automatically creates appointments in SF, but doesn't link to opportunity - which reflects a poor SNE metric for me.

COULD save time. Seems better for marketing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it actually shows the correct data within SF. The whole point is so you can live within Outreach alone, but if you're having to go BACK into SF, your google calendar, etc. then you're just adding another software tab that you have to keep switching to. I ultimately deleted it and stopped using

It is really easy to keep your tasks organized, give you a really good 360 view of your activity and track what is working.

Still trying to confirm if it gets spammed by big companies

This has been one of the best tools ive used in my sales career. Easy to navigate, helps with daily calendars and tasks and the auto email / sequence feature is a dream
