Allows an ease of access to various systems and has a straightforward setup process

  • September 15, 2023
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is most valuable?

The product allows easy access to any system in case of any issues.

What needs improvement?

We cannot see the number of monitors working on the system simultaneously. It becomes complicated to switch from one monitor to another for different windows.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The product's stability depends on the network's stability in our environment.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have 2,000 to 3,000 TeamViewer users in our organization.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup process is straightforward. It takes a minute to complete.

What other advice do I have?

It is a good product. I recommend TeamViewer to others and rate it a nine out of ten.

Good security features but limited adoption of the latest UI trends

  • June 09, 2023
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

Screen sharing and taking control of the remote computer environment to fix things were the basic use cases.

What is most valuable?

At the time when I used TeamViewer, it was considered a reference. It was a freemium version. So, getting started with it was easy, with a very straightforward usage, in my opinion. I also felt that the product had good security features, giving me a sense of security.

What needs improvement?

There are indeed more modern and user-friendly UI designs available in the market, which may overshadow TeamViewer's UI. This could be attributed to the fact that TeamViewer has been around for a while and sticking to its legacy interface. When you're a well-established product, it becomes more challenging to adopt new UI trends and make significant changes.

For how long have I used the solution?

It's already been ten years of using TeamViewer intermittently.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

There were not any bugs or issues. So, I would rate the stability an eight out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is a scalable solution. It is a solution for enterprise businesses where scalability is key for enterprises.

How are customer service and support?

The tech support was very straightforward, providing real-time chats or assistance.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I used the free version of TeamViewer.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend you try TeamViewer; it is one of the leading solutions in this space. Overall, I would rate the solution a seven out of ten, maybe because it's not a new player in the field, in terms of usability or user interface, there are more modern and user-friendly options available in the market. TeamViewer has a legacy and may not be using the latest UI trends.

I don't like the User Interface of the product and second you have to use voice instead of hand gestures and voice altogether and the size of the headset is bulky compared to Microsoft's Hololens

It makes it easy for IT teams to troubleshoot and manage devices

  • March 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can use it to manage a wide range of devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. This makes it a valuable tool for companies with a large and diverse fleet of devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
One potential downside of TeamViewer Frontline is its cost. It can be quite expensive, especially for smaller businesses or organizations that don't have a large budget for IT software. However, it's important to note that the software's capabilities and features can justify the cost, especially for larger enterprises with extensive device fleets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TeamViewer Frontline's real-time monitoring capabilities help us to identify and address issues quickly, often before they become major problems. This has saved us a lot of time and resources that we would have otherwise had to spend on reactive problem-solving.
