The easiest way to add push notifications to your app.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration and simple to use dashboard. Updates come often and everything is super intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Access to some features requires payment, but all the basics are included for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up push notifications on iOS and Android is such a hassle. OneSignal makes it super easy to setup with a couple lines of code and they handle everything else. We've saved so much time by using OneSignal.

What do you like best about the product?
For me as a developer, their push notification and in-app-messaging feature are the best with a seamless zero code integration documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a suggestion to improvise if possible, Auto Integration like Crashlytics may improve the error-less integration process and can save time for developers.

OneSignal has significantly improved our customer retention in a really impressive way with their services like Push Notification + Email
The user engagement and interactions with the app has been grown by 40-50% after using OneSignal Service.
The customization options OneSignal offer for their Push Notifications and In-App messaging is Top-Notch, no other service provider has these features in their package.

Free of use and beautiful api. Its very usefull and easy.

Segmentation is a little mess I think. But it is maybe from me. I just cant handle

When I create custom api or mobile app its really usefull that onesignal.com provides. I can implement easy.
Easy User Journey Messaging Product!

Easy setup for omni-channel messaging (Email, SMS & Push)

I can easily send a basic message, however the ability to do basic user journeys to send an email, then an SMS and a push notification has transformed my marketing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for my business, previously used email only solution which was too limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to message users across multiple channels. I've used email for many years however most of my users now are on mobile, Push & SMS are crucial new channels to reach my customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It was easy to setup and easy to send messages. However you will need a developer to maximize the value by setting tags.

What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard takes a while to load, and it's hard to make sense of charts, or it doesn't show the information that I'd want to know if I ever have to log in to the admin (are push notifications working? What's the send rate / delivery success %).
We tried to use the OneSignal API to pull data to generate our own charts for reliability, but we send so much volume that without "cursor" support to page through the data, there's just no way to match up the data or get all the data when page 1, 2, 3, 4 are entirely different than a second ago.
The other day, OneSignal just stopped sending push notifications to our iOS customers, completely! The service uptime page claimed everything was fine, but having the service drop out like that is very concerning. We had to contact support to have them fix something on their end.

Great for consolidating push notification logic on your backend when communicating with multiple push notification services. If push notification reliability is critical to your business, make sure to upgrade to the support plan.
Excellent event using the free version.
What do you like best about the product?
It's effortless. You can configure it with WordPress or with your site. Push notifications are easy to create and can be configure to be delivery on the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
On message page there is a limit of 10 messages, I would be nice a pager at the bottom so I could see all the messages

Free with a reasonable limit of users subscribed, if you work for a small or medium company, it works ok the free plan
Extremely Easy to Implement. Just works!
What do you like best about the product?
Documentation was extremely clear and step by step. I was able to implement the mobile SDK, build in XCode and send a targeted notification from my Rails application in under two hours. They give you code samples for many languages and frameworks. Seriously does not get easier and coming from other messaging services, the admin portal is feature rich. Amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything yet that I do not like.

Sending mobile notifications and messages for a mobile app built in Unity 3D with a Rails backend.

Outstanding support when you need it!
What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal staff are super responsive, treat you like they actually care, and are incredibly patient with questions. They have helped me several times and unlike "support" from other tech companies (throwing you a link to an FAQ), they actually communicate with you and walk you through things. Awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not more companies like them. They should share their secret for excellent customer support. ;)

Solved all of our communication issues with push and in-app messaging. In-app is particularly beneficial for us now!

By FAR the easiest and most supportive tech company of its kind. We reviewed many and they were our choice three years ago and we couldn't be happier!
Browser Push made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, it's integrated and configured in 30min, if you know, what you want achieve. Backend is clean and simple. In comparision to othe solutions I liked the performance, browser push messages were delivered almost realtime. They provided me a 3 month free account as I offer my service free of charge /non-profit.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes for my particular use case, maybe pricing is a bit challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started a website to show people available vaccination slots, with push notifications I was able to notify users instantly when new dates came in.
