Quick integration with 3-rd party services. "Journey" feature is perfect

I need more integrated email services, like Expertsender

What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal's standout feature are journeys, which enable users to create highly personalized and automated communication flows. These journeys help optimize every step of our communication funnel by allowing us to target specific segments of our audience with tailored messages at the right time. From onboarding new users to re-engaging dormant ones, OneSignal's journeys empower us to deliver timely and relevant notifications, leading to improved user engagement and conversion rates.
What do you dislike about the product?
While OneSignal offers a robust set of features, a more comprehensive API would be beneficial. Although their current API allows for basic interactions, having a more extensive and granular API would provide us with greater flexibility and customization options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal solves the problem of effectively communicating with users by providing a comprehensive platform for delivering targeted and timely notifications. With the ability to create customized journeys, we can optimize our communication funnel at every step. This is particularly beneficial in our rapidly changing industry, as we can use journeys to onboard new users and provide relevant updates. By utilizing OneSignal's journeys, we ensure that our messages are delivered to the right users at the right time, leading to improved user engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a fantastic all-around communication tool that is great for notifications. To get that extra analytical power, I recommend integrating it with a platform like Google Analytics or Amplitude.

What do you like best about the product?
One signal helps us retarget users that have already visited our website. We can reach them more easily, especially when there are new promotions and offers of desired products / services.
One signal interface is easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can highlight is that you cannot send automated web push notifications at a pre-defined date and time.
It would be great if they will release a feature allowing us to do so.

Support is always great. Quick response times and good predisposition.

The platform sometimes goes down, but is quick to come back up.

What do you like best about the product?
Onesignal helps us offload management of push notification specifics so we don't have to worry about it.

When we get to a technical support member, they are almost always very helpful.
Jenna from their support member was very friendly and patient with some seemingly obvious questions, and helped resolve my issues very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, support has just linked to documentation pages that we have already read, and could take several interactions before getting to a more technical support member who can help with a specific issue.
Some of the operations surrounding external user ids seem like they are still in progress. It can be a hassle to find device information based on an external user id, without knowing the individual device ids or other metadata about the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using onesignal to reduce the complexity of our own system, by abstracting any device-specific information from own database, we are able to target users directly without worrying about what devices they are using, if any.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Their comprehensive API and visual dashboard make it easy to use onesignal from both automated systems and busniess-oriented users making manual targeting campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
- Easy to understand functions
- Helps us achieve the required push notification strategy
- New features are being released for us to expand and achieve our marketing requirements
What do you dislike about the product?
- Journey's are not included as part of the free tier
- The platform is not available to send push notifications from time to time, but this is improving
- Other than the above two issues, very happy with OneSignal

And of course, one of the most relevants for product analytics, the Amplitude Integration!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately, the site has crashed a few times, nothing to risk our performance or delivery, but just a small pain to implement or review things at the moment.
Analytics could also be more friendly (but i don't care that much because I see them in Amplitude)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer engagement, activation and retention, starting by the onboarding or welcome flow, all the way to resurrection or win-back flows, through multiple channels
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool, simple, and you can try for free on the first tier of pricing, so no risk at all in that matter.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to integrate with any project whether it is an android app or website,
Notifications can be personalized to improve user engagement.

The best thing is you don't need to provide a certificate to send notifications to iOS users because some services require it.
OneSignal also offers a generous free tier that no other competing is offering right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
While using the free plan I don't feel like I have anything to dislike, the only thing I feel some time is limiting is the number of segments and data tags available in the free plan. this limit can be extended a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Re-engage the users with automated workflows that send notifications to users after a specific time of no activity on the platform.
also sending real-time notification of important events to specific users.

Create templates and setup automation to re-engage with inactive users.
