Public Education and JAMF
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF allows us to better manage and deploy our Mobile Devices across our district. Prior to doing so we spent hours on hours re-imaging and deploying devices. Now with JAMF we are able to setup pre-stage enrollment and have devices out the door in little or no time at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly the software is so great, there are no big downsides. While there could be some better integration for EDU, but we know that’s in the works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to deploy devices in shorter time frames and finding that customers are able to better support themselves by using the self service tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve always liked giving my clients their machines directly still shrink wrapped.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the jamf suite should improve their mobile device management options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently using self service to deploy printers.

Try it out. It gets easier as you go

The space in the main hall. If there was enough space for us to interact with others that would be great.

The security management and vpp.

JAMF simplifies management of all Apple Devices. Does not require a technical person to touch every device before handling it to an end user.
Upside of using JAMF is that new things are constantly in motion. JAMF constantly introducing features and software to help in the world of OS, IOS and iPad OS Management.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything least helpful at all. It has been a wonderful product and easy to work with. Any issues I have encountered have been handled in an excellent matter by JAMF Support

Ensuring that all new purchased devices are configured correctly out the box.

Ease of enrollment and you can choose to manage as much or as little as you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be confusing at times and need better granulated control of certain configuration profiles
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deployment of software and on boarding. Standardizing configurations and restricting certain native Mac features.

Easy, simple management of our K-12 Macs and iPads.

I would like a better way to index and sort large lists of profiles, smart groups, etc.

Periodically slight lag with our on-prem setup.

How jamf provides all the tools that you would need to fully integrate apple devices into an windows based enterprise environment

To get the most out of the integration you have to be sufficient with apple specific scripts.

A solid product with an awesome community
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf has been infinitely helpful in getting our environment running, in my industry we’re heavily regulated on the security side which means integrating new products can be a bit of a nightmare. Between jamf nation and jamf support they’ve helped us through every step of this adventure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some hoops to jump through to bring in any large scale product, especially an entire new OS like macOS. Jamf is no exception to that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve been able to turn a few one off macOS devices into a scalable fleet with control over security, application deployments, updates, and more.
