Easy to navigate and great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very user-friendly, even for complicated and demanding analyses. The regular software updates make Mixpanel a very up-to-date system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Restrictions on user log in permission options, and the expensive price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business analytics, tracking customer activity, customizing notifications to make them customer-specific.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the accessible customer support and also try to take some of the tutorials, which take some time but are definitely worth it!
Great platform for marketing reports but with some limitations on SMS

It has a lot of different options to setup campaigns, and very UI friendly to create message setups

Their SMS seems to not work very intuitive and harder to manage/update

I love that there are so many ways to segment the data and get a high level view or drill down to the nitty gritty

You should have a naming convention established prior to creating reports otherwise it gets really, really difficult to decipher what the reports are for until you open it and run the report

reporting and tracking, especially as we continue to test more
Mixpanel is easy to use and I can test against it without doubt.

I like that it updates immediately in all environments. After becoming familiar with how it works and how we have it set up, I am able to find what I need.

I do not like that it triggers an event for everything, so it's hard to be extremely specific.

We are testing how customers use the features in our software.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is to compare the data that mixpannel shows me from our basis and the macro analyses from the market. I can filter from region, profession, gender, age, etc. It allows me to make decisions based on this.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest until now I have nothing to complain. Sometimes I don't know how to get into filters that my questions requires, but It is just matter of time to get a solution. The channel at youtube really helps to learn how to use it and what kind of different solutions you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I could find some gaps between our basis and the market. I could decide what kind of strategy to reach the customers that I really should based on this analyses. The benefits was a right direction to supply our gap.

Does not find as much secure to store the real-time information of users
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely helpful for Tracking and Storage of real-time data for my web application. Secondly having easy steps for implementation in web applications and have a mix panel library in asp.net also
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn; 't have the data export API for Asp.Net or in using javascript. I am working on a web application in Asp.net and having trouble in the exportation of data from mix panel I have done this through php data export API that makes the performance bit slow and also there no information provided to secure the API token that we use to create a connection between mix panel and web application

Extremely helpful in Tracking activities and storing the information of users in my web application

I will surely recommend if they work on the security

Really easy to add to our website and track custom events and properties. We use it with Sentry in order to recreate user issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the conditional logic in insights isn't straightforward to use. For example, if I want to display events that have a certain property against other events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking retention and user behavior. Also being able to understand what parts of the product we should optimize, which allows us to prioritize effectively. The user tool is incredibly useful!

What do you dislike about the product?
- Steep pricing for the people module if you are a B2C company. A lot of people who sign up will never use the product so we need to periodically clean them up.
- At the same time, no grouping of B2B users under one customer organization umbrella (tbh, I haven't seen any analytics tool that does that).

Best Mobile Analytics Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel covers all basic analytics use cases out of box!
What do you dislike about the product?
Campaign creation should allow more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile app analytics has been easy with Mixpanel. Tracking key metrics as well as basic analysis such as retention, cohorts has been super easy!

The adoption & retention graphs - at first we couldn't figure a good KPI for our product. those graphs do the job :)
What do you dislike about the product?
for some reason it mixpanel dashboard is a little bit slow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to understand how users use our product and which features work and not. we use funnels and other graphs to get more details and increase the transparency for our Product Managers.
