The variety of out-of-the-box report types are great for novice reporting users

Sometimes we run into some limitations around customization of the details

What do you like best about the product?
Viewing complete user journey easily is the best feature for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such to dislike currently in Mixpanel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps to track our user journey and funnel very easily. It also helps to engage with our users using In App Notifications and Push Messages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel is definitely better than other analytics platforms for your apps. It is easily to integrate and the support given by Mixpanel team is also awesome. We almost have call every week or two to solve our queries, etc. The analysis reports shared regularly by Mixpanel team is also pretty helpful to understand your data and integration issues.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to update the lexicon. Easy to create insights for basic data. Fairly easy to look through user data feeds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports defaulting to private. Having to share all things all the time is infuriating. Limitations of dashboard functionality. Lack of dashboard organization. Organization of existing reports is lacking. Visualizations are lacking a bit. Using formulas is a pain in the bum.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User activation and retention. How user behavior and actions impact revenue and order rates

What do you like best about the product?
Variety of tools to analyze feature performance and user behavior. We also use it extensively to troubleshoot various customer issues. The logging can get as detailed as you would like it to be. There are new features being added constantly which is improving the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding new events requires new app releases which are not ideal. There are some minor bugs and some nuances around some of the newer features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking how well a feature is performing and how much the adoption rate is. Helps us understand the impact of new features.

Mixpanel is also an integral part of our troubleshooting process and has helped us resolve issues faster

Great for understanding Flow of you app and managing user profiles of customers

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like is the level of customisation allowed when setting up the events. The events along with user profiles and user custom parameters allows you to make in depth funnels and then use these to build marketing automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited messaging capabilities build on the platform. You can integrate with Braze or Airship but it would have been better if more marketing communication tools were build inhouse
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use mixpanel to analyse the user journey and funnels of our app, which allows us to identify the drop off points. We then work to improve those journeys and use these segments or cohorts of users created to engage more by sending notifications and email

Good tool to have if you set up your events in the correct / optimised manner

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing is you simply create segment and automate campaigns. It also help to analyze user interactions with your app and website. You can create Flows and get Insights instantly. Also with the help of flows you can easily create Dashboards to review Live streaming of your Events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really, all good except pricing is high
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email campaigning made easy. Customer interaction with software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you wanted to know your app quality with the help of user interactions then this tools is must. Also on the basis of different user experiences you can segment them and start campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
Any serious team looking to understand they metrics and performance and build quality product MUST have mixpanel! Love everything about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Biggest issue for us so far :

> When we send a message (push notification) to our user base there's no option to fragment the push within a time frame, for instance, if you send a message to 100k users ALL of them receive them at the same moment which causes stress to the servers, I'd like to see an option where we can set it be sent within a time frame, let's say 60 minutes, so we would send 1666 push per minute instead of 100k in 1 minutes.

We had this issue and we ended up writing code on our end to solve for the issue, I'm sure other MixPanel users would appreciate it too.

Mix panel really pays off if you take the time to track your events, so do really make this as your habit and make sure every screen , flow, user property is always set up, the data has to be sent to Mixpanel so you can understand make the most of it.

Powerful Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is incredibly powerful once you have integrated it. We use it daily to monitor KPIs, measure the impact of specific events, and identify customer segments. This tool has given us a unique insight into our customers' behavior beyond what we have been able to analyze with other tools. Not only can we monitor key metrics, but we can create cohorts from those reports and dig into the user data to find trends.
I love that they send clear explanations of new features with each update so we can stay on top of the features of this powerful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support can take a few days to respond. They are incredibly helpful once they get back to you but the delay can be frustrating. Mixpanel is also sunsetting their messaging feature at the end of this year so we are forced to transition to another tool that integrates with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Mixpanel to track all our customer-based data. This measures everything from our high-level KPIs to nitty gritty QA monitoring or funnels. It is integrated with our CRM and support center so we can stay on top of user activity.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use tools like Flows, Funnels, and Cohorts that help anyone learn the story of the data quickly.

We have been running into issues of event/data loss due to ad blockers

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel gives the complete picture in your product. Brilliant for product owners, marketing folks, data analysts etc. It's a must-have if your building your product analytics stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can be better suited for startups! It's a bit too expensive for early-stage companies.
