What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy UI, comprehensive data and product insights, integration with a vast range of mobile tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, the tool is awesome! We consistently get good feedback on part of our clients and love to use it on their behalf
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it on part of our clients to identify key product optimizations to ensure the success of our app growth strategies. The pricing is great is definitely value for your buck.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reach out to their amazing support teams if you need help, the whole team is always on hand to handle any obstacles or challenges you may be facing.

What do you like best about the product?
clearly I would mention all the onboarding path. Videos are super clear and all the support articles are nicely written.
tools offeres for quality insurance are also very nice.
G Analytics for analysing incoming traffic and mixpanel for collecting user data seems to me a very nice combo

maybe a couple of outdaded document in the support

Great experience for data driven products

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of Mixpanel is the possibility to create reports based on different cohorts. It is also easy for a software engineer to make a report, showing how many times people used a feature. I also like Slack integration, which simplifies sharing
reports with the rest of the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, when a report is more complex, Mixpanel needs more time to load required data. It is not a significant disadvantage, considering how much data Mixpanel processes to generate a report. At first, integration with Mixpanel was quite challenging, as we've chosen to connect it via Segment, which didn't allow us to use all Mixpanel features. I would suggest future integrators to use directly Mixpanel SDK.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're splitting our platform users into many cohorts and compare them how they use a product. We've been able to see, which features are frequently used, and which aren't. Thanks to that, we can prioritize our backlog much better.

What do you like best about the product?
I like everything Mixpanel offers whether it is Insights, Funnels, Retention, Users (cohort). Though what stands out is the "Retention section". I drive engagement in my current role and rely on Power User curves. Mixpanle has enabled all these capabilities which is awesome. Also, the Users cohort creation is super easy, effective, and flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Not allowing us to create cohorts on Power User Curve - have raised this separately already.
- Mixpanel has recently seen a lot of outages, especially in March (end of the quarter and we pull a lot of metrics around this time).
- There are a lot of unknowns on different screens in Mixpanel which become difficult to understand. Ex: Retention screen - unbounded freq/bounded freq. I know that there is a blog out there on the internet but this needs more clarity owing to its complexity.
- I never get to use the flow/experiments in Mixpanel. Flow has so many navigation screens for us and it becomes difficult to do analysis (even after selecting N screens options). This is also mismanagement from us which leads us to Mixpanel should tell us the "Best Practices" of ingesting data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rely heavily on Mixpanel for running the A/Bs and take product decisions based on it. I believe the whole development cycle has become more effective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ease of integration to your apps is very easy. All SDKs are available. Give it a try and you will love it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, easy to set up and the free tier is very, very generous
What do you dislike about the product?
It's something very specific, the usage of formulas can't mix User and event properties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work at a Web App. We track how customers use our app via mix panel. We basically load the script on the index and track events on our main pages. It provides information about how they use our app

Load the script on the index, then it's easier to set up

What do you like best about the product?
It's fast, easy to use and it adapts well to all our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have the option to create breakdowns for each step on a funnel, or create negative funnels

Users behaviors problems. Main benefit is how fast it is and easy to use

Best product analytics platform

What do you like best about the product?
It is very powerful and easy to use. You start sending events in minutes and after that is really easy to create funnels, cohorts, dashboards and so on.
I love the Lexicon and the ability to merge events: this might seems a tiny feature, but when you start tracking events, it's pretty common to change event names from time to time, and with event merging you can say "Event A and Event B now are called event B" and this avoided as loosing a lot of data.
Another thing I really like is the ability to see which users completed or dropped a funnel step, although it could be easier (you must create a cochort and then go to see the users in that cohort).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. I would love to see users in every funnel step without creating a cohort, just clicking a "View users" button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Mixpanel we were blind; we didn't know what our users do in our platform. Using it we've increased user engagement, reduced time to first value and identified power users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't waste time looking for another option, just use Mixpanel. I've been Googling a lot, posting in SaaS groups, talking with people I know that uses this kind of platforms and all told me the same: Mixpanel.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Mixpanel is how easy it is to create *actually meaningful* analytics reports. It has detailed tooling for retention (especially important for consumer apps) and allows the entire startup to stay up to date with our progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the tooling for reports and sharing reports could be a lot better. I've tried sharing reports with my colleagues and it always becomes a questions game of "can you see it yet?".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving retention statistics and general impact reports on new features. Being able to measure the impact of features is absolutely critical to a startup finding product-market fit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do it. It's the best product analytics platform, period. The insights you get will be critical for building your startup and finding that product-market fit holy grail.

Mixpanel helped me be a better product manager

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a non-technical person, when I first saw Mixpanel I thought there's no way I'm ever going to understand how to use it. I was wrong. Mixpanel gave me all the knowledge to understand how to get the most out of their product. I quickly understood how to report events and add additional information to them in form of properties. It was simple to communicate this to my engineering team, too. But the thing that Mixpanel gave me, besides a super-powerful easy to us tool, is that they empowered me with education and helped me be a better product manager. I'm able to make better product decisions proactively to create a better user experience instead to react to data I see. I swear by their Focus Metric framework which helped me understand the state of my products and also to easily communicate that to my stakeholders. My whole team, from stakeholders to the customer success team is able to access any report and get the information they need to do their job better.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, it might seem a bit overwhelming for a non-technical person, but Mixpanel resources help educate you. You'll be a pro in no time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm more empowered in my position as a product manager. The biggest benefit for me is that I'm now able to make proactive decisions to improves user experience and better my product instead of reaching in a panic to metrics that are not looking as expected.
