Allow me to make the right decision on what to build

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can monitor user fannels that helps me to understand if the flow is usable and intuitive.
In addition, I like that I can use the breakdowns to find where things work and where they don't
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the process of debugging to be complicated. When I build a fannel, I always go to the live feed and look at the actions and properties to better focus my reports and breakdowns
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a product manager, I need to make decisions on what to build next. In addition, I need to validate that what I build produces the expected outcomes.
I use Mixpanel to define KPIs in which I monitor to validate my outcomes

What do you like best about the product?
I was following Mixpanel for a couple of years already, and first of all, I really appreciate how much progress they made to refine the product. I can feel how are they trying to give their users all the necessary tools for proper analysis. and they are constantly improving.

Secondly, they have quite good educational guides to quickly grasp the idea of Mixpanel functionality and how can you use it with examples. and it's important cause there are a lot of nuances one should be clear about.

Thirdly, it's a beautiful design and makes every chart so satisfying to get the insight from :) and they are easily understandable for not really tech-savvy users as well
What do you dislike about the product?
I would be happy to see more customization options, for example, to assign a color for a specific value throughout the dashboard. So that it's not confusing that at one chart OS = Mac is purple and on another one is orange.

Generally, customization would be great for as many things as possible. Especially for dashboards, like alignment, sizing, texts to make it more readable and story-like flow, which will make it easy to highlight main insights for all stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have many custom dashboards to check the performance of the product in different aspects, which is really helpful for the lean startup model.

It is super useful for experiments and cohort analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to get data from multiple sources into Mixpanel. Between its integrations and built-in tools, it's a great way to bring together web, app, and external data sources and draw out actionable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel's identity reconciliation is powerful, but it could be better. For example, if Mixpanel's unique IDs were easier to get *out* of Mixpanel, it would be much easier to associate them with events from new data sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has saved untold hours and dollars with Mixpanel's reporting features. On the Marketing team specifically, the platform gives us up-to-the-minute reporting on A/B tests and experiments, giving us the details we need to grow.

What do you like best about the product?
I get actionable insights about my product with minimal tech investment. Mixpanel has years of experience in storing analytics data, so I never have to worry about reliability or accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier is a little limiting. You only get to store three months' worth of data, but often this is ideal for a small tech company whose product is likely changing faster than that anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to see what features users are using the most, which lets us decide where to invest our technical resources. Mixpanel provides the fastest answers to even the most obscure product-related questions with a relatively painless setup. There are also great integrations with all the frameworks we use, like

What do you like best about the product?
MixPanel is very reliable and it offers a wide range of libraries and tools, useful for every department from marketers to accountants. The UI is really intuitive, for a non data user, I get weekly updates on email and the support is very prompt and we get regular new releases of the product
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel can be a little unstable at times but I have observed that refreshing the page usually does the trick
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We try to understand the user behaviours by creating funnels of the user journey within the app and also track the retention data of our users.

What do you like best about the product?
1) Usage tracking; 2) Interaction tracking; 3) Filtering options for DAU/WAU/MAU.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to navigate when I want to check different metrics and to navigate between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking DAU/WAU/MAU for our product. Metrics are perfectly supplementing user feedback received during customer interviews.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the mixpanel and it's a recently added feature which allows you to include formulas.
Not to mention that having all these data tracked in one place with all their properties, accessing KPIs with a click of button by adding them to your dashboard and doing so easily with a friendly UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
not being able to add flows to dashboard
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we use mixpanel mainly to:
1. get to know the demographics of our clients (segmenting based on Personas)
2. track user's behavior and drop offs
3. tracking all our metrics
4. user properties and filtering by it
5. Cohort analysis

What do you like best about the product?
Send all the events to one place and let people generate insights they are eager to learn. Single library of all events and knowing what is tracked clearly is a great benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI functionality is still ambiguous and not error-prone. Usage of EU data center took some time and is a manual process, that could be definitely improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding the usage of our product. We have built various reports and visualized them to understand each concrete point of the journey. By having all the events in one place you don't need to synchronize tracking and analytics in a spreadsheet or similar space.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked Live View and how flexible Mixpanel is to customize the user paths that we want to study and get to know about a users.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. User Flow used to automatically show what users went after selecting an event, but that feature now is gone and became pretty similar to Funnels, which can be a bit confusing sometimes.
2. The help documents may not always be up to date with the latest Mixpanel updates. Sometimes when googling for understanding better about Mixpanel, I can notice the screenshots and video guidaince are not up to date and may cause slight confusion to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aside from getting to know how engaged our users are within our product, we also try to get to know where our users are coming from. UTM tag property has been super helpful to help us identify that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel is not the same as GA or other Marketing analytic tools. Mixpanel is a great tool to learn how well your product means to your users. If your users like your product then the numbers will show. It also provides an opportunity for you to get in touch with your users without involving a developer to help you reach out to them. Remember do check out "Campaign", "Messages" and "A/B Testing" features on Mixpanel to get to understand your users better.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is the best tool in its niche: user engagement and building pleasant, easy-to-build (and interpret!) dashboards with custom KPIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outside of its niche, Mixpanel can struggle. It is still possible to jury-rig some exciting solutions with data originating from a Mixpanel environment (with some effort and ingenuity)!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been investigating our user onboarding funnels, and checking key metrics related to engagement and referrals. All in all, we've been able toget a really clear picture of what our user base is actually like. It's been an essential part of our overall strategy, and we're constantly revisiting our Mixpanel dashboards and reports during important meetings!
