Usability, funnels feature, easy dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as easy to see stats across different apps. Switching across apps if org has multiple ones is not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand customer conversion and engagement patterns, understand onboarding experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep trackers simple and to the minimum at first to validate the concept first

I personally use Mixpanel for performance marketing attribution , A/B testing and funnels.

Keeps Getting Better

What do you like best about the product?
Superfast querying and I can look at the data how I want to look at it. I can drill down to specific situations and then look at particular occurrences thanks to integration with FullStory. Custom properties let me get access to deeper insights without updating my tracking. Growth plan comes with all the features and a bunch of credit to prove value before any payment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan was limiting in a way that didn't show the value I could get out of the product. Five reports per person? Custom properties can't be saved and reused (so a lot of copy-pasting)? The growth plan was hard to find at the time of sign-up (I had to know where to look).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel solves two problems: error drill-down (useful for developers and not a planned feature of Mixpanel as far as I know) and understanding what the user is doing in the product. Specifically, features we know are useful to the user are often not used and we are updating the product so they encounter them at the point of usefulness.

Further, when mixed with customer interviews/demos, we can verify whether or not annectdotal experience of a customer is common and high-priority or rare and low-priority.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel has various resources about the collection of data into its product. Without data, Mixpanel can't be used effectively. They also have a forum that looks interesting called QBQ (question behind the question). There's a bit of an initial investment to get past, especially if not already collecting data that can just be dumped into Mixpanel, but it's worth it. Start with growth plan and if you can't get value before Mixpanel starts costing money then cancel.

What do you like best about the product?
A tool that's both easy to use and comprehend for non-technical team members, yet provides enough sophistication to solve 90% of our analytics queries is a boon for our consumer-facing applications. The simplicity of implementation and the offer for early-stage companies had us up and running in no time!
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel they should have more detailed video-format documentation for how to get the most out of MIxpanel for specific product use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer retention and identifying major areas of improvement in our mobile app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! It's so easy to setup that doing a proof of concept will only take a day or 2

By default, it doesn't track some popular sources/mediums of traffic

Mixpanel helps to make easier analytics for events and users' data without restrictions met in other solutions.
It's especially cool for bootstrapping companies.

Incredibly Useful and Fun to Use!

What do you like best about the product?
Simple visualisations and very friendly understandable interface, really easy to generate useful and beautiful graphs and visualisatons. Not only that but I can find information that aids our companies development, and fun stats, quirks and info about the userbase that is really intresting. Extracting the data with the Raw export API in conjunction with SQLite has been incredibly powerful for me as a data scientist. This application is highly underrated. The dashboard can be shared with a wider group at one's company and thus presenting and sharing analytics between different departments is effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The raw export API could use some better explanations on how to use it. It's useful once you've spent a week struggling to understand it. Or a slightly better tutorial rather than the sample datasets. Recommendations on how to get the most use out of mixpanel faster would be useful, there are features i didn't know existed until weeks into usage that would have been great to know of. Also the dark mode is ugly, sorry. The documentation for some of the high level features could be better it is too dense and difficult ot navigate and understand and sometimes i even find it difficult to reach the pages of the documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of mixpanel are huge, visualisations can be realised in seconds at just the click of a few buttons, there's been countless times a colleague has asked ' I wonder how many people are doing x features in our application....' or along those lines; and i've produced a graph there and then; impressing them greatly! After a few hours of getting to know mixpanel, one can very quickly get information that would take 10x as long to develop through computer code or more traditional analytics code alone could. Through the API I have increased the usabilty of the data even more so and the visualisation can then be even more personalised if one has the correct coding experience. As our company grows the iterative insights mixpanel provides is unmatched and is invaluable when trying to reach out to users; identify key users and spot issues or problems with our application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Allot some time to get to know the features and what is available; Paid plans are worth the money, and the mixpanel overall is simply fun to use; easy and simple, no need for any expertise in data analytics in order to recieve huge benefits.

Best User Experience and Customer Support across any analytics tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of using Mixpanel. It's clear they maintain super focus on building the most intuitive and feature rich experience for users. Additionally, their customer service/success is second to none. On countless occasions they go above and beyond to help me troubleshoot and better understand my metrics. They've even written custom SQL scripts for my team!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing about Mixpanel that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Mixpanel to understand the product usage and retention of our Zoom Application. We are also feeding into it data science metrics to understand what we call our "confusion matrix".
