Amazing receptiveness to feedback
What do you like best about the product?
That the Mixpanel team is always receptive to feedback and quick in implementing those features
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major. But maybe there could be greater flexibility around the sizing of the charts to avoid horizontal scrolling. Especially true for bars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking product metrics and improving them

What do you like best about the product?
In Mixpanel, I like that, over the years, it has gotten more straightforward and more data-centric, but at the same time added cool dashboards for the business owners.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite part about Mixpanel is that while they have gotten more data-centric, they miss a simple glossary for their used terms. E.g., WAU says that it is Weekly Active Users, but not how it is being calculated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel solves the following problems. Firstly, it gives me simple means to track user actions and states. Secondly, I can get friendly dashboards and reports, which help me get a quick overview of the current state of my customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implement as soon as possible to capture the most traffic and get the best attribution info.

Lots of functions to calculate retention, drop-off in funnels, and segments of customers

A lot of functions, so it takes a while to be proficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to use SQL to segment numbers of users and getting action insights quickly and in easy-to-understand visuals

Ability to customise the tracking for my specific need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nitpicking here. Steep learning curve when it comes to using the insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The insights allows me to measure the success of feature launch. I am able to put hard metrics on the impact of certain features, making the decision making process to be more data-driven.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If user experience matters to you, use Mixpanel. It gives you the insights to make better judgement for product improvement.
Mixpanel is a life-saver!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is so simple to gather data. You just attach the events you like and it magically appears on Mixpanel. The possibilities are endless from there.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could implement a way of getting some very simple live data, like GA. But that's not a downside at all that they don't have this

We are solving the problem of knowing what's going on in our product.

The user experience in Mixpanel is top-notch; Easy to use, and most importantly for our use case, it gives us total control of our data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked more APIs for dynamic event properties. Ex: when I track the conversion of a form, I would like to access the insight via the API without having to create the chart in Mixpanel first.

We understand our users better, we optimize our conversions, and most importantly, we measure the impact of our work.

Make sure you have a clear tracking plan

It is easy to navigate and if doubts, it's well explained on the website help center.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its accuracy as compared to the database. Mixpanel is just an approximation rather than a precision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User flow, customer analysis. By doing so we were able to understand where we had to focus in our website.

Good for tracking user's activity and we are able to make different segments and provide additional filters ad well for data.Visual(graphs) is also good.

sometimes it takes time to load data and little bit expensive

Superb product for understanding the user insights across multiple channels
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of Mixpanel to understand the user behaviour and insights from the event data is just fantastic. The power of creating multiple dashboards and constantly looking at all the funnels are great as well. We have got much better with data in the last 6 months as a team. It's like a go-to tool for our user insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will not say dislike but having a feature of alert mechanism would definitely help. Some kind of Slack alerts or Emails when my funnel conversion drops by more than 5%.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making my team more data-driven is one of the first priorities. I've asked my team to set up Mixpanel and now we always look for user insights, funnel conversion and entire behaviour before taking any product decision.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a startup looking for event-level analytics and don't want to spend too much on tools like Clevertap, MoEngage or WebEngage then Mixpanel is a very good alternative. Drawing the funnels and understanding the user behaviour is very easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Funnels and Flows features are amazing for insight into the user flows for the app
What do you dislike about the product?
The experiment feature feels out of reach in terms of understanding and setting experiment details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems of figuring out dead zones for users and drop-off points. The benefit we have realized is the level of insight I have access to.
