Best tool for granular data visualization
What do you like best about the product?
The granularity of the filters, being able to change the data type
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that we cannot change the colors of the graphs in dashboards. And that we cannot put subtitles in dashboards

We're tracking the success of our features and our employees. This helps us direct our product & process strategy

The clean and intuitive interface, which enables you to get started fast and gain insights w/o being a pro right from the beginning

The pricing model is imho a bit too high, although it's worth it

The user friendly interface makes it very easy for quick dashboarding to draw insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lexicon section doesn't contain a description of events / properties, making it difficult to find properties on your own, without help from someone who has used it before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MixPanel helps me track my daily active and transacting base, and do an RCA on any aberrations in the daily trend.
The perfect tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The way Mixpanel helps us finding user-profiles and account details is what impresses me the most. It is by far the best tech tool I have used. I also like the way it can help us pull data such as error messages, and app crashes right from the user profile, it actually kind of feels really cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have integrated it with Zendesk and it usually takes a lot of time to transmit data. It is faster when we go to the Mixpanel URL and look for answers rather than using it directly on Zendesk. There are a lot of lags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Mixpanel to collect customer data and monitor user behavior on our app. The details and the information Mixpanel can pull are very impressive. This is actually my first tool which is a bit technical but its user interface is great and very easy to understand. It has made our lives easier and that is for sure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool for analytics. I find it very useful at times when I need to know which IOS device the customer is using or are their multiple accounts for the same customer. Which region do they belong to? Or What is the email address they are using to sign up? Our system is case sensitive and Mixpanel helps us track that and let us know the exact account details. There are a lot of other things like different error messages, app crashes, and other Klover related stuff we can look for in the mixpanel dashboard. The only setback is its lag time on Zendesk, otherwise, the data provided by Mixpanel is absolute to the point and very helpful in our day-to-day business. The Mixpanel Dashboard is also very user-friendly and having different data distributed in different types of graphs also helps in getting closer to the data we are looking at. MIxpanel also helps you to compare your data in different time zones and from different months, years, or days. You can also share that data right from the dashboard with your team in order to perform analysis. You can also track the messages or email campaigns you send to your customers. Basically, everything you will be looking for in software that can provide you with visual analytics, and collect data that can help you troubleshoot customer's app crash issues or any other software bugs or issues, Mixpanel has to be on your list of consideration.

There are so many ways to utilize Mixpanel, not as intuitive the first time around (but once you spend some time with it, it's worth the effort)

What do you like best about the product?
Today, whenever I even think about a new analytical report about my customer's usage, I immediately go to Mixpanel and within a minute I already have the data.
I don't need any developer, the tool is very intuitive and I don't need to prioritize it as a task and wait days or even more until I have the knowledge.

What do you dislike about the product?
When I want to run some more complex reports, joining tables of data, or filtering the data in a certain way (like SQL), it is harder to achieve and I need to find workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helping me to simply know my users actions and behavior, using:
1. Dashboards for the stakeholders, showing the top priority Objectives & KPIs.
2. Weekly reports learning about the new features.

Better than Google Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
You can configure all events faster and easier than Google Analytics. It also allows you to have specific metrics of what you want to measure that are more intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
they should improve some UX within the platform for account configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are several:
- Better visibility and understanding of the statistics of the products I am measuring.
- I find the information faster
- Google Analytics is lazy to enter to visualize data. It is overwhelming almost everything, in Mixpanel it is much more elegant and better structured.

Improve the way accounts and projects are configured. It can become confusing

What do you like best about the product?
The most outstanding function of Mixpanel is the number of sources you can import data from and blend within your reports.
As I use Google Ads daily, having the ability to import data using labels is helpful for proactive campaign management. Otherwise, we would have to deal with the delay from Google Ads; Mixpanel fixes this issue and helps us manage campaigns more efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI. Recently there has been an update to our reports which makes most columns difficult to view unless we hover over them. As we have over 50 rows in some reports, this has made data analysis longer than before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our most prominent solution on Mixpanel is that we can identify technical issues before we would have otherwise. A simple downtime from an external server can have a considerable impact on our marketing. However, Mixpanel allows us to spot this earlier and make quick adjustments to our marketing to limit the damage it will cause.

Sometimes it takes time when updating a report or dashboard to show the changes
