What do you like best about the product?
Easy fast and realtime user interaction tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
Retention analysis is poor, the data seems to be inconsistent plus it doesn't align with the typical retention analysis of D7, D14.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a product manager so I use mixpanel to understand how my users are interacting with the product, what are they liking. Metrics: discovery, adoption, engagement

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel makes it really easy track basic metrics like user retention over 7 and 30 days, average uses per user and activation time. It's so quick to get started, and the free plan is really really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know javascript very well, and so I found implementing some event triggers with Google Tag Manager was user-friendly but not always completely accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Mixpanel to get better visibility on how people use my web tool. It's been incredibly helpful to easily track different stages of conversion, and has actually shown me some event data that wasn't tracking correctly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Honestly it's free to try, so just give it a whirl. If you already have Google Analytics set up with GTM, just use those to start.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel has really simplified the way we track user activity. The summary dashboards help us get quick insights and make more effective product decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The session tracking is sometimes inaccurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very intuitive and the helpful metrics already set up such as DAU/MAU etc make it even easier for non-data analysts to quickly start evaluating key engagement metrics when starting off as an early-stage start up.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a really small thing, but when using the funnel function I would love the ability to have an AND/OR option to better evaluate funnels across releases and time, right now I'm limited to the steps for specific releases in time and can't use it across releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is our go-to platform for any product-related metrics, we evaluate both acquisition and retention metrics and have set up our HEART framework data points so we can easily evaluate how our app is performing from a UX point of view.

I like that I can freely do whatever insights, funnels, reports I need as long as I sent the events to mixpanel.

I wish the integration process was easier and has a way of doing it without tech effort.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of reports creating, lots of different reports options (like cohorts, funnels, flows, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not say that I dislike anything in Mixpanel, it seems to me that the platform has no sufficient drawbacks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating marketing and product reports.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool has a minimal learning curve. It is also quite user-friendly and easy on the eye. Any non-technical person can pick it up and create their reports. The reporting and widget creation is pretty easy. The tool offers free version which offers most features and works best if you are an early stage organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything I dislike about the tool. However, I would recommend trying the free version first to dive deeper, and then if needed, one can anyways upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel data regarding our onboarding application is from Mixpanel. We use the tool also for A/B testing and testing out different onboarding flows based on the data. We use it get monito user sessions, user retentions, user device segmentation and test out different onboarding flows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are organization is customer-facing, and you value customer experience, I would recommend using Mixpanel to test out different user journeys based on actual user funnel data.
The tool also helps you improve the user experience by letting you know where there is funnel leakage and also tells one which section is working fine and as expected.

What do you like best about the product?
Funnels is my got to product as it gives me real insight into where we can improve our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've struggled to make as good a use of the user profiles as I would like. This is less about the functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User interactions, acquisitions, conversion and retention.

What do you like best about the product?
I've only been a user for 4 weeks but in this time I've created a number of dashboards and reports that provide such deep information. The onboarding and knowledge base is invaluable!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing to dislike right now. I'm still navigating my way through the breadth of features and how I can get the most out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to understand the behaviours of customers, track results and learnings from experiments and use thes insights to ensure information is correct across our integrations and so on. It's my central point of data insight.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go through the onboarding and align with your teams who are working with your internal integrations. Also ensure your company has a wiki of what the events meant to ensure consistency of use and create a change log to keep everyone updated. When the business is aligned the results will be even more meaningful and impactful :)

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to pull the reports that you are looking for. Whenever I am trying to find something, the first place I go to is Mixpanel. It helps drive business decisions, persuade leadership to invest in a particular product/feature and drive value to myself as a PM. You don't need to be a data or SQL expert, and the Mixpanel community is vast enough that if you have a question, it will be answered very quickly and in an easy-to-digest way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only frustration, which, as I mentioned in what I love about Mixpanel, can be resolved by asking the Mixpanel community, is when I do not know how to get to the report I want to, it is difficult to sort through all the data I need. This also comes as being new to the company and trying to learn more of the tribal knowledge of the company, so it is not all based on Mixpanel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have solved a variety of problems, the subsequent iterations of specific features have been identified via Mixpanel. Being able to go to the leadership team to get the necessary resources to execute on our roadmap has been supported by pulling data in Mixpanel. Lastly, the most significant benefit is to measure the success of our engineering work and truly motivate our engineering team to continue driving forward.
