The best tool to track users
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Mixpanel is the ability to track users and understand behavior based on analytics and integration with other tools, funnels, and retention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only good thing would be that for startups, the credits they provide would be better if they gave more credits for the library usage processes, so it gives time to test the tracks.

Measure user retention in internal work applications

Empowering all team members with data
What do you like best about the product?
As a business-focused Product Designer, for ten years of my career, I've struggled to leverage data while doing my work. Mixpanel enables any specialist to access the data and work with it autonomously. In a recent year, I've spent more time with Mixpanel than any of my design tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tools usually assume that you know what you are looking for, yet most of the time, I'm in exploratory mode, tinkering with the parameters. I'd love to see the usability direction leaning more towards exploration and discovery. One of the specific examples could be filter behavior. I can't "mute" particular filters quickly to explore various "what if's". Instead, I constantly need to remove and recreate filters, which is time-consuming. All in all, I still love the empowerment this tool provides for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product problem discovery and analysis of implemented changes or experiments.
A great system for product analytics with incredible wealth of options
What do you like best about the product?
The huge amount of options to use for analysis, with many combinations to filter data and visualize it. The comfortable UI is a great bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the large number of features, it may seem overwhelming to new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Mixpanel to understand user behaviour in the app, and have seen several areas where changes were required to increse flow conversion.
Even a raw Mixpanel implementation helps you get tracking ideas on the fly.
What do you like best about the product?
- Hands down the best UX for analytics and tracking tools in the industry, whether you are a technically sophisticated individual or otherwise the filter, formula and chart will come naturally to you.
- Even a basic real-time tracking implementation of your software in Mixpanel can help you gather ideas and expand upon them.
- Best customer support, I had a pretty dumb issue of ad blocker that messed up the filters, which got resolved after a while but the empathy and immediate assistance with patience were unlike many in the SAAS industry.
- Tutorial videos and tracking sheet ready templates to structure your tracking plans in early stages of your project.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Use the training videos uploaded by them to learn the basics. They are enough and you don't need to search Youtube for them.
- Use their ready tracking plan sheets by downloading them from their resource section. It will help you develop a mental structure to think of what and how to track.
- Start with tracking the easiest and most interesting aspect of your feature first instead of full fledged tracking. Once you and your team sees the data visualized in front of their eyes, it will open up endless opportunities at it will pique interest once it is in front of eyes.

User friendly Data Analytics tool that worked well
What do you like best about the product?
It's an efficient data analytics tool overall. The way it allows managing attributes, the way it offers diverse documentation I like the best. I also like their reporting feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not awesome or the best you can say for the non-technical person. That's the only thing I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were facing challenges in measuring the health cycle of our users. In the SAAS industry, you must proactively manage your user's health cycle. The reports and cohorts generated in Mixpanel helped a lot to overcome this challenge.
very resourceful tool
What do you like best about the product?
do not need to code to do analytics, this is great for who isn't technical
What do you dislike about the product?
there's a lot in this tool and the training isn't the best
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
unable to utilize all the capabilities
Solid product, not very intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The richness of the data Mixpanel collects is excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't easy to find my way around, build reports and graphs...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking product usage and integrating them
Easy-to-use product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel has the main formats for analysis a product team needs (cohorts, funnels etc) and a good UX/UI to set them up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every now and then I come across a use case that is not supported and have to come up with a workaround or do the analysis somewhere else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly checking user behavior, product/feature performance and how those things relate to customer value and business impact.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool for most product analytics use cases, however, keep in mind you're probably gonna need to perform product related analytics outside of Mixpanel as well.
