What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding webinar was really helpful! The documentation is clear and helps even if you're just getting started with analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more recorded video lectures available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to measure the product and extract actionable insights from the analytics tool we use. Mixpanel helps generate insights and reports easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel has a very simple UX which makes it easy to use for beginners. It provides a lot of useful insights about the user visiting your website like where they are located, which browser they are using to access the website, number of sessions per day, length of each user session. It also provides some very useful reports like user retention reports, frquency reports and much more. Overall a great product for web analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment. Does eveything that it's supposed to do perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it for tracking user sessions and user flows across the product. Also helps in troubleshooting errors.

Incredible Analytics and data governance tool

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel does the perfect job of tracking user behavior across our web and mobile app. With proper slicing and dicing of data, it helps us drive unique user insights, which can then be used by Marketing and sales teams. We can utilize traits of our users and their activity to make cohorts that can be used by marketing campaigns to create a lookalike audience and drive similar users through marketing campaigns. Also, it can be used to track all user-level data, till the last point - campaign>adset>ad, this helps growth team in campaign optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is super complex to understand and use at first, it has so many reporting formats and options and even while using the insights or users option, the user properties, events, first time ever, unique, etc features can be overwhelming and might confuse beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is better than Google Analytics and Appsflyer as it helps us with web and app, both properties. It is event-based and tracks user journeys across these events, and we can do a full funnel analysis and track user journeys and behavior on the app or web. We can easily push these events to our CRM and MMP. We have the option to set custom events in Mixpanel and when a user is using both app and web, then its cross-device analysis is best in class. The recently introduced feature of retroactive modelling where they analyse user's past activity and predict models for future helped us identify early indicators of our core events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While analysing user interaction with our producit it is essential to make clear visualizations, and Mixpanel does the perfect job of user-level data analysis where we have the option of selecting events and user properties associated with them as we progress ahead. I would definitely recommend Mixpanel to all product/growth managers.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is behavior and user-centered. Tons of harvested data with no practical meaning are a thing of the past: Mixpanel dashboards and features are all tailored around the usage of your product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards and views should have faster loadings in general. They are not bad right now, but having them faster would mean a faster analysis and reporting process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are scouting different usage problems in our products thanks to Flows reports. They are amazing for analyzing drop-offs and preferred paths.

What do you like best about the product?
It's really intuitive. You don't need more than a day for understanding the features you need and how to use them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Non-paid features are very limited and it could be a stopper for a small company without budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User tracking. It's perfect for having a track record of how your users use your tool.

Excellent App and Web Analytics Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is clean crisp, and the product outlook is light on the eyes. The color theme is subtle and quickly navigate all the features. If you are a beginner, then you can find all the help and demo in the help section; it has detailed documentation of all the features which help beginners in their journey. However, it is a bit difficult and requires proper training to know about all the features and how to leverage these features and start adding value to the business. It lets us understand how users move/navigate our app or website, identify pain points and solve them. In the new update, you have all the events on the left panel, and you get a complete view of all the funnels. Now you do not have to scroll too much like earlier, this has further smoothened up the user experience. There is nothing I dislike in Mixpanel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Team member onboarding and learning can be achieved quickly with proper training modules in place. Otherwise, the learning curve is excellent and might take a lot of time for beginners to learn about the platform and how to use it constructively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer segmentation, user retention reports, and event journeys and funnels help us gauge user journeys and behavior within the app. The flexibility to slice & dice data is fantastic. I usually prefer setting a template for my reports and viewing them daily for any anomalies; in the dashboard, you can view recent dashboards made by anyone or yourself. The tool is handy and we can analyze data for different experiments that we are running on re-engagement/paid/social/affiliate channels. We drive user insights, analyze users use the product, measure retention and stickiness by identifying how many users return to the app and where the conversion rates are the least so that the team can take informed decisions and improve this funnel. So far, by identifying gaps, we have been able to reduce user churn and focus on driving more quality users to the app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Mixpanel is a highly efficient tool for customer service based companies.

Easy-to-create dashboards

What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to create reports and add them to a dashboard to share relevant product insights. Developers have even used it to detect bugs!
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a decent amount of time to implement the hooks. However, all tracking tools require this. I wish we could track more than the interaction on the page (e.g. tie in user info from another product)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Mixpanel, we don't need to pull data manually from a large database. It saves significant time

Strong, Reliable, Trustworthy Analytical Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve with Mixapnel is steep and requires adequate learning to start using the platform. Almost everyone at our organization uses MixPanel to make sense of data without Data Analysts. It gives us better insights into a user's journey within our app. We can see what ad campaign or media source these users are coming from and hence decide the quality of users after analyzing various conversion funnels and metrics. It helps the Marketing team to identify best performing channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so many features and reports, it sometimes becomes challenging to understand the difference between specific reports. Their customer support is not very prompt and they rarely reply before three days of raising a support ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unlike Appsflyer, Mixpanel helps us measure the performance of both App and website. It helps us in understanding our users better by tracking their journeys and identifying drop off as thei pain points, this helps the product development team in course correction which inturn contributes in increasing user stickiness and app retention. Instead of big query we can pull user level data from Mixpanel which can then be uploaded to ad or crm platforms to run reengagement campaigns.
