Great analytics tool set
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to view user's actions and be able to improve the product. Pipe-line vizualisations. AI-generated insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so many downsides to mention at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web and mobile apps analytics.
I use Mixpanel almost everyday to perform my job as a PM. It was really easy to learn how to use it.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn how to use. I can create limitless boards and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have an automatic cluster feature: detect similar usage patterns and cluster users with similar behaviors together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track and analyze user behavior. We also use it to obtain our KPRs.
I like the user interface, I like the way it looks and it's pretty easy to use...
What do you like best about the product?
Smooth UX, colors look good, all your data is centralised and you can filter by several properties.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some words are hard to understand especially when built by other team members but this is not MP's fault...

Gathering data across our platform and making sure it's shared across teams.

1. Cntrl+Z doesn’t work, Cannot copy filters across reports.

I am using Mixpanel to track conversions on the product search page.

What do you like best about the product?
As you know many startups use lean methodology, which means constantly changing products based on user satisfaction. Mixpanel provided us a simple yet powerful tool so that we can get to know how users behave like which page is most visited, where users drop-off, retention, user tracking (helpful for customer support too), etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I disliked is sometimes when I visit the dashboard, the reports on the dashboard are not the latest numbers. I have to click on the menu and refresh then the numbers get updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use mixpanel to calculate active users, retention, new visits, users flow, and track users. We also use it to estimate where the site visitors are located and how many visitors signed up.

A little better UI for web app could go a long way. In today's world, we have various product-based SaaS companies that have very impressive and intuitive UI.

I perform various analyses of the users using our products. This analysis helps our product team in doing a better/effective outreach with our latest releases.

It should have hybrid event collection like in FreshPaint.

We are able to track user behaviour in our apps. These are reports are being used to manipulate application structure, design etc. So we can better serve according to end user's needs.

Modern, Functional Design with a Back-End to super charge
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is constantly updating its interactions and UX to reflect how users actually use the product. It has many features that can help you drill down into what is driving your business and does this in a clean, modern and straightforward UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for there to be a mobile-friendly version, as viewing dashboards and insights can be cumbersome on the phone, especially when looking at top-level metrics. There can be an element of dashboard fatigue however, so much data is available, and at times, I'd love some more actionable help from Mixpanel; what could I do with this particular insight?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing where our product starts to fall short with our users, where they drop off, and where they are coming from has enabled us to make decisions based on reality, not just gut feel. Being a startup, the ability to be able to track our users' behavior in real-time means we can discuss, make decisions, and make changes a lot quicker than was possible previously.
Easy to set up, great to explore
What do you like best about the product?
Great documentation, easy to set up, updated UI is amazing — everything is in the place that I expected it to be. We enjoy digging into the data and my colleagues can share insights based on the same source of info. Really cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
We experienced data delays a couple of times, but that was a minor issue due to updates in the Mixpanel systems. No big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track events, which is way better for the analysis than just visits or heatmaps. But this is what the product was created for in the first place.
