Great tool to get valuable insights
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and implementation. Once tracked, data is easily managed via intuitive dashboards, which are easy to create. I also like the possibility to rename properties and merge them (lexicon), and the JQL which allows for queries and calculations about revenue to be made easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had trouble sharing data with external stakeholders, view and edit permissions are not very configurable as I'd like. It would be better to have more customizable view permissions for external stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need customer behavior data to help me and my team evangelize data-driven decision making in a bigger organization which has a cultural problem about it (lots of hippos and wolfs)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try because if you need analytics about usage, this is the best tool you can dream of, at an affordable price and with the best integrations.
Not bad but a lot of potential
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to build charts. You don't need to spend an hour like amplitude, very intuitive to deliver and sort out events and user behaviour.

The documentation isn't great.. the web app is often slow when you try to load charts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it as a replacement for amplitude for analytics in our company. Basically all user acquisition details, profile data and attributes are stored in mixpanel profiles

The most flexible and configurable analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love Mixpanel's configuration through tracking events and properties, as these can be set up to provide exactly what you need – nothing more, nothing less.
I believe this is the one feature that really makes Mixpanel superior to other tools that track everything codelessly: that may sound great initially, but it always ends up making it much harder to find patterns and meaning in the data.
Mixpanel, on the other hand, has given me the clarity and focus I was looking for.

What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes can take time and a few page refrehes to show new events or users in the UI. Occasionally these new events / users are applied immeditaly to some of the dashboard reports but not to others, which means that I need to be aware of inaccuracies in the data that need to be solved by refreshing the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even a small implementation with only some selected tracking events enabled us to find clear patterns that are now driving our user experience. We could for example prioritise certain product features over others, saving us the time and budget to run extensive surveys / interviews to get to the same conclusion. We could also quickly understand the screen sizes preferred by our user base, which allowed to think about how to optimise the layout of our platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a tracking plan ready before starting to implement Mixpanel, or you may end up unable to make well-informed tracking decisions. Thankfully Mixpanel has a great template and extensive advice on how to create the best tracking plan.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, I love how easy it is to setup Moxpanel and how quickly that can be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pageview event not being present can be a little worrysome sometimes but only when my clients require it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a fintech conpany. So basically we are solving issues like tracking the conversion rates of each major events. Thanx to mixpanels dashboard system. And yes because of this we are able to improve our user experience way better
Deep pruduct insights
What do you like best about the product?
Apart from its general usefulness (we can't think of working further without it), I was quite impressed by the AI insight finder. It emails me signals it finds in my data that I would otherwise miss, most probably.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing. But they have introduced new plans some time back, that are more accessible.

Analytics of our SaaS product. It helps in many ways: conversion optimization, churn reduction, identifying issues etc.

Mixpanel is the ultimate tool for Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Setup is really simple and it delivers a ton of value even on free accounts. All of my products analytics are based on Mixpanel and I really like how it's fast, simple, connected and easy to setup it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
The MAU pricing ladder is a little too steep for third world countries economies, so i don't see myself upgrading it to a paid plan in a near future, but when i can, i definitely will.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The free plan is very generous and gives me ability to start tracking my products without having to spend more than i can pay. I'm tracking all of my products analytics in just one place without spending a dime.
An all rounder analytics experience
What do you like best about the product?
The advanced filters and search provides us with more granular control over getting the right analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing about mixpanel is there to dislike.
