What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use. I like the ease of making a dashboard and very easy to use to stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super clear how to refresh data. I didn't know the premade dashboards were premade

Super easy-to-use app analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is truly easy to use for non-analysts (like myself). I'm able to get a lot of insight into how people are using our app on different OS's and different devices. It's really easy to interpret the data. Mixpanel has excellent support. The team responds quickly and is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike. Just something I wish I had. I wish there was an easier way to export data tiles to Google Slides. At the moment, I export CSV files and open them in Google Sheets. Then I re-draw the graphs in Google Slides using the Google Sheet as the source.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit of Mixpanel is that it shows us exactly which features are not being used in our app at the moment. It also helps us to gain a lot of insight into which parts of the app deserve more attention: be it features that are really well-used, or things that are only somewhat successful. Our stakeholders also appreciate being kept up-to-date on the latest movements in our app.

What do you like best about the product?
The customisation of the reports to filter out, exclude or shape the reports. My experience has been every question you have is answered without manual exporting of data. For example "filtering our events" on the funnels report or "hide duplicate events" makes the funnel report actually useful. Very few platforms go to the lengths to user test the product as much as Mixpanel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, there isn't much to not like. The only request is that Mixpanel take more of the user engagement model - email triggers and in-app messaging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To understand user behaviour on our SaaS product. Who is doing what and what are the flows to inform product development. Studying cohorts of users to understand which group of users are likely to perform certain actions to inform marketing.

of course the pricing model, for me its too high.

problem that i solve is to track our registration funnel and analyze user cohort

for data anayltics, and ease of use I recommended mixpanel, its easy to learn and the tutorial is so easy
The perfect analytics tool to track product usage
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is one of the most versatile product tracking tool in the market. One can create multiple dashboards with filters to easily dice and slice data you want to look at. It helps track product activities and how the users are adopting the tool.
We mainly utilize Mixpanel to track feature usage among different segments like Paid companies, Free companies. We also track the health of our paid companies regularly so when we see a dip in usage, one of our customer success member outreachs to understand if something went wrong. Mixpanel in a way helps prevent churn.

What do you dislike about the product?
Firstly when I started using Mixpanel, it looked alien to me. Felt very complicated and didn't know where to start. This is where Alex from Mixpanel helped me understand the different functionalities of the tool and how to set it up for best results.
I do hope that they would lower the pricing as I believe it's a little steep for a growing company like ours. Otherwise I fully recommend it.

I think I'm still somewhat limited in the visualization of data and the creation of dashboards.

If you want to get basic app usage insights, look no further. Mixpanel offers the right tools to analyse your product and can be used by not so technical skilled people. It's a great addition for product teams
An interactive intuitive platform for analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The self-explanatory UI and highly intuitive reports and dashboards. The availability of elaborate FAQs and explanations with examples.
What do you dislike about the product?
The occasional description-less errors. Sometimes it is helpless to debug them.

Solving a real-time website tracking use case. Mixpanel makes it easy to connect with the website and it also makes it convenient to store the data tracked and use the same data for analytics purposes.

Dashboards are super easy to create, all most of the functionalities can be learned in a day or two.
The free plan covers most of our needs which is huge since our budget is limited

Weeks of implementation. It would be great to be able to reduce the implementation time (similar to google analytics)

Mixpanel - Good Tracking Tool for Web Applications
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel has very efficient and detailed events tracking for web applications. UI is great and navigation is easy. Engagement is user friendly. Live tracking of events.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes a delay or lag is observed in events tracking due to heavy traffic or high load. searching of events should be done through multiple events or values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps in tracking all user activities which ultimately helps in getting to know which feature is more demanding by the user and thus helps us in designing better web applications.

We can design our own fully custom and highly actionable user data flow.

Mixpanel is actually very well made. I don't have much to complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being on the product team I work a lot with analytics. We get all significant events sent to Mixpanel (from mobile, web and also backend). All data get automatically linked and turned into reports that are available to the whole team (we get it daily as an email digest).
