I would highly recommend Mixpanel
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility and ease of creating different reports from the same data. I love the versatile tools Mixpanel offers and the ease of learning the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the hidden feeling of reports. I feel there should be an easier access point for "my reports".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is helping my business track the users of our mobile app. It helps us see how often the app is used and it helps us decide if the app is useful for the company.
Absolutely delightful to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Things just make sense with Mixpanel. From my perspective, the product is able to simplify a complex job that would take hours to replicate and make it doable with a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the dashboards could use some improvements. It becomes increasingly difficult to customize the format once you have more than 8 charts in the dashboard. It is painful to drag the charts around to the right spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes the task of understanding our users easier. Without the tool, you either rely on a data team to build your reports which usually take 10x as long or you learn how to build your own reports from scratch to gather insights. The tool cuts all that hassle out and delivers you user insights with a few clicks.

The filters provided on Mixpanel help in the easy discovery of data. Mixpanel helps in checking day to day user-level data which eases our analysis and performance tracking of our campaigns

Sometimes technical errors disrupt the day to day analysis

Mixpanel helps in tracking converted users that have taken a specific action due to our retargeting campaigns

What do you like best about the product?
I have always loved the very minute detail we can find about our audience base with Mixpanel and knowing all attributes and behaviour of our users. It helps us know the last location of a user device and the devices used, which aids in better user segmentation for sending notifications. Marketing campaign analytics and campaign optimisation based on this has helped us smoothen our execution process.
What do you dislike about the product?
MixPanel is an expensive tool and while it helps us in fetching user profiles with all relevant details, its support team is slow and we have to literally find everything on our own if we hit any bottlenecks while using the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is highly relevant to us as it helps us in understanding our user base better. We can create custom dashboards for different teams' use cases and share them via a link while presentations, this helps the team to focus more on user demands and realise why our user's engagement is better or worse with different features. Apart from showing us detailed user behaviour, it also provides us with the funnel performance of users acquired from different sources and their conversion rates at various levels. With this information, we can do a perfect comparison and allocate our budgets more efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend MixPanel, especially for Marketing and analytics folks as it provides extremely useful insights into user journeys which can be a great help for Campaign optimization and product-level changes.

It was super easy to implement, the dashboard and UI are nicely organized.

It won't work with users that disable cookies whereas Google Analytics did collect their data

What do you like best about the product?
I find the platform very user-friendly for how much it can do.
It's really easy to share quick links to reports with other team members, and then they can work on from what you have, that's really handy.
Dashboards are easy to create and I have one or two I check weekly to keep an eye on key metrics and indicators.
We used the free plan to get familiar with the platform and set up basic things we needed. This gave us confidence in that we were choosing the right platform when we moved to paid.

Our developers have twice tried to meet with the support team to resolve a technical issue and the Mixpanel team were a no show both times. Still waiting to sort our group calls if you see this and want to reach out!

It's brought our data into a very user-friendly platform, so multiple departments are able to easily and quickly check how things are performing that relate to them.

The data we have is in a semi-complex format but we are still able to get all the aggregations we want out of Mixpanel.

The loading of the charts and dashboards in Mixpanel could be a bit faster.

I love how easy mixpanel is to send events to mixpanel with just a couple lines of code from the backend or frontend. I love how easy it is to generate reports and get real insights super quickly.

There's a bit of a learning curve but mixpanel makes this as easy as possible.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cohorts handling is tedious - creating cohorts is slow and painful.
Filtering and breaking down by cohorts is time consuming (selecting each cohort twice, default setting of 'not in XYZ cohort' is pointless to me)

It's important to get your event data definitions done right from the start. Use a good grammar and stick to it - otherwise you'll have a mess within weeks.
