Understand your users’ behaviors better, quickly segment and visualize your data, measure the success of your product launches

Filters are confusing and difficult to use, datas are sometimes not correct from the current root.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is extremely flexible and versatile. Once the engineering team has set up all the data points in a proper way, we in Product can use it in so many different ways. Cohorts, Funnels, Journeys, AI signal spotting - just to name a few that we are using on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is constantly evolving. The UI, features and pricing plans are regularly being changed. It takes some time and a bit of frustration to get used to new things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product analytics and growth marketing. Another big thing is Mixpanel's knowledge base and community. I personally learned a lot from both of them.

Good Tech support. SDKs for all Platforms, including Server-side and React Native.

None I could think of, the pricing could be improved for scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use mixpanel to track user events across Web, Mobile and Server side. These data are then used by Product and Marketing teams to track metrics and run campaigns.
It's been a really useful tool to attributue revenue to our facebook ads campaigns.

Accurate reporting that offers Mixpanel to its users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we're getting un-atributted or undefined revenue and sometimes we are unable to isolate the what the issue could be.

Attribute as accurately as possible our Facebook revenue

The one i loved the most is Funnels. Simply the best, i was introduced to the mixpanel in my current organisation itself, and i've been using it for a quarter now.

cohoritng could have been be more simplier, but is not. Some sort of ease of cohorting should be there, and there should be a place where you can find your previous cohorts

Mixpanel is helping me to visualize the data, which helps me with better decision-making, both business and product wise. I've been exposed to cohorts, funnels and insights, so sofar it's good.

Easy to use, intuitive and great insights from the usage of our customers.

At the time we were using Mixpannel the UI was a bit simple. In app messages needed design improvement.

We can understand what clients are engaged and which ones could be likely to churn.
Intuitive User Based Event Analytics for Product Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to set up events that correspond to actions that your users take has been a game-changer. Mixpanel has given us a real insight into actions that our users take and how they progress through their journeys in our application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI has a learning curve to it and can sometimes be frustrating. Once you understand the principles though you can quickly get answers to whatever questions you need to ask.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel allows you to understand actions that your users take in detail, it allows you to segment your user base in different ways that are extremely valuable. Creating cohorts of different user segments is a game changer.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to easily define cohorts in relation to various factors. It is really easy to read and interpret even for a non-technical person. Funnel tracking is very good. Using the tool, we can see where a particular group of users is in the order-placing process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about it. Sometimes you may find it overwhelming to determine whether you're using the correct attributes for your report. The performance of Mixpanel can fluctuate, especially when the size of the data you're tracking is very large.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Mixpannel, I have access to all my data analytics and data visualization requirements and can display data in an easily accessible manner. Users' behavior tracking is very detailed and accurate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Marketers and product marketing teams can use it to gather insights into how users feel about the new mobile app or product. The user interface is easy to understand and intuitive to use.

The integration of the SDK with our website was smooth and fast. The ease of understanding the product and real-time event flow helps a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we export data it only downloads the data loaded on the screen. We should have the option to download the complete data set for the applied filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Mixpanel we have a better understanding of the flows our user is taking. This helps us in improving our funneling. It also helps us to understand the improvements of feature changes that we make in real-time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Like all the other SAAS Analytics solutions, they are focused (or at least used to be focused) on client side implementations.
Despite best efforts, my server side implementation was buggy at first (due to the fact that most documentation / resources were initially put on client side implementations).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not only has Mixpanel helped me implement product analytics, in a sense Mixpanel has given me formal training on how to become a product manager. I am convinced this will help my startup get the feedback it needs to find product-market fit.

I looked at other solutions, including Google Analytics and Amplitude.
