A must use for every SaaS product
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful reporting: funnels, retention, and cohorts make trends obvious fast.
Flow analysis clearly maps real user journeys and drop-off points.
Easy to segment by plan, platform, geo, and release - great for A/B reads.
Easy to understand dashboards for non-tech/ exec audience.
Alerts keep stakeholders aligned on key metrics.
Helps us map user stories end-to-end and tie them to activation/churn.

What do you dislike about the product?
Queries on very large date ranges can feel a bit slow during peak hours. That's it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps us understand exactly how users interact with our product, everything from first-time activation to long-term retention. By tracking events and mapping user journeys, we quickly identify drop-off points and friction in the onboarding flow. Funnel and cohort analyses give our product and marketing teams the insights they need to run A/B tests, measure engagement, and reduce churn.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Mixpanel is that it offers robust tooling that enables you to drill down and obtain certainty about your products. It unifies a suite of powerful tools into an easy-to-use package. It's also worth mentioning they have an intelligently designed SDK that won't drain/abuse mobile device battery/thermal state by recklessly firing off events across the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing is probably the rigid pricing. You have to pay for the whole suite even if you only use a fraction of the offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps us understand how customers use our apps, evaluating experimental vs control cohorts, and supplementary context when debugging technical issues.
My Daily Dashboard for Product Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is like my daily newspaper for product usage updates. It’s incredibly easy to implement, and creating boards and reports takes just minutes. The UI feels intuitive, and I can quickly explore any data point or statistic without friction. Exporting data works seamlessly, which makes it easy to share insights across teams. The funnel analysis features make it simple to uncover user behavior patterns, and the dashboards are customizable enough to fit both quick checks and deep dives. I haven’t interacted with their support team very often, but the few times I did (two or three times), they were responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile experience isn’t as strong as the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps me track and understand how users interact with our product on a daily basis. It solves the challenge of getting quick, reliable insights without waiting on engineering or data teams. With funnels, cohorts, and retention reports, I can easily spot trends, identify drop-offs, and measure feature adoption.
The biggest benefit is speed, I can go from a question to an actionable insight in minutes, which helps us make product decisions faster and with more confidence.

Straightforward deep analytics for your product
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to breakdown user journey and deep dive on workflows were my favorite
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some event listeners that were not precisely captured but I am not sure if it was Mixpanel the problem

Mixpanel is a must if you want to know how your customers use your product

Fast to setup with many options for implementation on our codebase and API provides multiple ways for us to enrich the Mixpanel data.

Deleting redundant data could be simpler

Which customers are at risk of churn and which feature do customers use.
Mixpanel is my key tool as a Product Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I use it daily in my work as a PM, it helps me take decisions and be informed. I love the UX and how intuitive everything is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are down times and I get reports that aren't saved and need to redo them.
I also can make reports where I exclude a property and when I look at the dropped off users, I can still find events that qualify them in the other cohort, but I'm not sure if this is a mixpanel issue or not.

Amazing tool for a data driven team
What do you like best about the product?
Really enjoyable tool, with endless capabilities, great UX, easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
High entry point for people new to working with events (but still easier than competitors...).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me analyse, create assumptions and make decisions in our product environment.
Very easy to use and so much useful
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel makes it very easy and quick to analyse all of my product data in depth. It's my first port of call for making the right decisions and forming the right hypotheses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot of things ! Maybe the choice of colors can be improved because it can be misleading between 2 insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main advantage of Mixpanel is the speed of the analyses we can perform, allowing us to form opinions very quickly.
Mixpanel review from a Product Designer POV
What do you like best about the product?
Context: I'm an in-house product designer that uses Mixpanel for work.
What I like best:
- The product is well-designed/has appealing UI, which increases my willingness to use it
- I like the way the main report types are broken down (insights, funnels, flow reports, retention reports), this is intuitive
- Building my own dashboard is intuitive, I like that I can tweak the layout and include descriptions

What I dislike:
- Mixpanel was my first analytics tool that I used, and for my use case (answering specific UX questions, not only looking at generic metrics) I would've needed extensive walk-throughs/tutorials to learn my way around the product. I found this lacking from official support (at the time I was looking into this, about a year ago), also had a hard time finding anything from 3rd-party resources. In the end I bridged the gap via ChatGPT but that was less than ideal and would've preferred following a curriculum or similar created by/for Mixpanel
- Related to the above, I find expert features completely inaccessible to a beginner (eg setting up a cohort), there are minimal explanations in-product
- I work for an established product that's been relying on various tracking setups for years, as a result we have many events set up and not all of them are live. We have a separate Notion documentation to keep track of what is what but this is often out-of-date. I wish there was an easier way to access this info inside Mixpanel (which events/attributes do what, which are live etc)
- I recently tried the replays feature but unfortunately it didn't work as expected with our mobile app

I monitor the user behavior on existing features and spot opportunities for improvements/new features.
Great analytics tool for commercial decision making
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel has greatly helped us to optimize the commercial performance of our apps. Mixpanel has democratized data in our teams. Through self-service dashboarding we are able to control our full-funnel performance on a hourly basis. Next to that, it allowed us to bring experimenation and testing to another level, through deeper understanding of our user behaviors between test groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not much. It's the strongest analytics tool I know.

User analytics and commercial analytics. One-stop-shop for all user insight related questions we have.
