The built-in mobile tracking events made Mixpanel immediately useful.
Custom track events were easy to implement, and our team was quickly able to measure feature rollout, success, and improvement.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are missing reports that don't render on the dashboard, which is frustrating because I see no good reason!
It would be helpful to have more comparison options when building reports. Like comparing between App Version or any custom property.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is helping us measure customer onboarding, engagement, and retention. It's important because we can make product steering decisions based on reports built in Mixpanel.
Easy to learned, helpful solution architech and great support team!
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is great, so easy to compare the data as there's many compare options. It also has JQL where you can gather more complex data where you unable to do on chart. The migration process was so smooth because there's dedicated team assign to help us who really smart & helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
We can't get historical changes of user properties as it always be updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How easy it is to create a report on the dashboard! We can tell stories from data as there is feature to add words with great formatting! Also comparing to previous period of time that shown on chart are really helpful to compare data based on time.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel is undoubtedly the best tool for product analytics, especially if you have a SaaS platform. I use it in every project.
Its 4 types of reports allow you all the flexibility to show complex data in a simple way. Its interface and ease of use, unlike other tools, makes the learning curve incremental and virtually anyone on the team with minimal knowledge can get the most out of it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Previously there was a solution to send in-app messages and emails from the platform itself. The truth is that I liked it a lot, but I understand the decision to eliminate it because it was practically a different product. There is nothing I don't like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can extract the data I want from my software and easily display it in attractive charts and dashboards that the whole team can use and understand. Used in conjunction with Segment, the results and ease of implementation are incredible.
Lightweight, accurate and feature packed event tracking with customizable properties
What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel automatically tracks events and properties such as device info, app version, session length, app updates and geolocation data. Their dashboard is informative and quickly generates graphs/charts with our custom property filters.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints regarding their service. Although adding user properties is straightforward, some events triggered by iOS users don't have their properties in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We constantly check trends and DAU/MAU via Mixpanel. Their service made it easier to get a birds-eye view of what's happening on our app and where the most traction is. We heavily rely on Mixpanel events while testing new features with a set number of users. These events help us decide the changes to make before publicly releasing said feature.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which I can learn the story behind each transaction of our clients helps me understand their habits and customs, so I can ask and answer questions, and once discovered, take actions that generate value for the organization and especially for our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have a dashboard or pre-established metrics to only adapt them to my data, and It does not have an agent that after a month of service advises us to get the most out of the tool.

Doesn't handle some specific use cases like if we have a site, and are working on top of another site/SaaS offering, its tough to connect user journeys across

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very intuitive and I can run powerful queries in seconds. The integrations available are handy as it connect back to all of the tech stack used in my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to edit some of the data in the reports to have names that make more sense accross other teams. For Example, not everyone knows what UTM source is, so I would like to rename the legent from UTM source to simply Lead Source in my reports that I share with the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is helping our product team during the entire product lifecycle. It helps us define opportunity hypotheses by finding product gaps. It helps us determine if a feature was successful or not. It helps us determine what features are being used, and what type of engagement creates more retained customers.
Great Analytics Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The visualization tools on MixPanel are easy to use, colorful, and simple in look but able to communicate large amounts of complex data in a simple format. It's also straightforward to pipe data into the tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a given, but obviously the initial overhead setup required to have helpful dashboards is very time consuming but a necessity for a tool of this type. Mixpanel makes this process much easier but still will always be a pain point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel allows me as a user to visualize complex data in easy to digest formats. We are trying to be a more data-driven company and MixPanel is helping us succeed.
