Very handy tool for the product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly design, great variety of reports and views, high sped of report generation.
Very easy to create a dashboard.

Tracking of user behavior and features performance
Mixpanel has been a great tool to quickly get an insight of weather a feature is being used

It is very fast. Loading data only takes a few seconds.

Some complex queries are hard. For example when finding users that haven't done an event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a developer, I need to see if a feature is being used, to see if it is worth it to keep developing it.
Best tool for evaluating product success
What do you like best about the product?
It has been hugely helpful in motivating how users not only utilize the platform, but where they get stuck and where we should focus more or less. It has helped us to cut off features that people were tied to, but didn't generate the necessary outcomes for the business. Overall, this has been one of the best tools I have used thus far, can only recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it was a bit confusing to use and I have a background in Business Intelligence analytics, also I felt like they could have provided more information on how to assemble events for best results.

Customer data at your fingertip
What do you like best about the product?
The coolest thing in Mixpanel is the customisable dashboards. Depending on what I want to track (specific cohorts, products, regions etc) I create new dashborads. Then it takes no time to pull out the reports that I need and share it with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I don't know who, when and for what purpose created a cohort or event. We do not have proper company wide naming conventions for events and this makes some quarries useless or unreliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking feature usage and flows broken down by license type or customer segment. Seeing how a new release influences the conversion rate. Tracking the activity per region and per language.
Easy to integrate into your project using JS
What do you like best about the product?
It has a very nice dashboard, and its very easy to integrate to the Frontend

Sometimes I have to click a lot of buttons just so I can get somewhere in the dashboard

Its helping have an overview of where users are clicking and how they are navigating my website.
Mixpanel gives me confidence as a developer
What do you like best about the product?
Using other tools before it took me ages to build up a dashboard about all nescesary metrics. With mixpanel I create a dashboard in minutes. Especially the funnels and aggregation of data is awesome and otherwise a complex topic, but not with mixpanel. Get a chart with Weekly active users with a single click. Awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
Using mixpanel in a bigger company with every other app sending a lot of events it sometimes gets messy to find the events you are looking for. Maybe it's a configuration issue on my end but IMO events could be sorted better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to see if our users and how many are adopting new features we develop. We can also track the journey a user takes trough our product. Also we use it to identify single users for a interview.

The documentation is really well thought through. The implementation of mixpanel was very straightforward. It was a few functions we had to call and the data was being collected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report and finding the right data can be abit confusing. I did struggle abit and had to get assistance from a mixpanel expert on upwork to assist me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to understand our product analytics, how our users were using our product. Mixpanel was able to provide us with all the insights, we really improved our matrics after we understood what our users were doing on our platform.

Mixpanel is very intuitive in its way of showing you how to build a report from scratch.

What do you dislike about the product?
There ins't really much I dislike in Mixpannel to be honest, maybe bcause I did not build many reports myself and I'm more a huge consumer of reports built from others.
The only thing that comes to my mind is the way of saying a report which needs to be duplicated otheriwse you do modify the "public one".

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel gathers data which are super helpful when it comes to tak the right decisions, at different levels: why to prioritize a feature more than another, or why to send this email to a customer, or at whihc point we stand from a usage point of you, etc.
Great and flexible analytics tool for business users with incredible customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible the analytics tool is. 99% of the time I've been able to analyze something just the way I imagined it. It is also very user-friendly, which makes it easy to implement with business users in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Slack community could be a bit more responsive. The good customer service makes up for this, however. I would like to see some additional functionality, such as a better Slack integration.
