Most reliable platform for Product Acitivity and Funnel Insights tracking

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I use Mixpanel everyday to track App-activity of users, session-level user behaviour, Refunds and revenue, performance of students enrolled in our programs. The best part about Mixpanel is the reliable tracking of every user end-to-end, right from clicking on an UTM-link, performing a transaction and returning back to our platform for another action. Ever since we integrated Mixpanel with our third-party exam-service provider, the data of performance of the user in the examinations have also been mapped directly to in-app and web-activity of the user. Besides, whenever we require specific campaign-data or custom-behaviour data, we raise a request with either the Customer Supoort team or directly with the dedicated Account Manager from Mixpanel and get a fairly fast response.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting of dashboards is not very user-friendly in Mixpanel -- in fact, the custom formatting options are also irrelevant. Often, we require the same report to be shown dynamically in Trends or Chart format, as per user selection but that is not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel serves as our organisation-wide tracker for users on the Web and the App, which helps leverage the pain-points of user and enables the top management to take corrective action on the product.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Mixpanel is its robust capability to unearth deep insights and aid in strategizing effectively. Despite a steep learning curve initially, once mastered, it becomes remarkably user-friendly. The platform's strength lies in its comprehensive data analysis tools that enable us to dissect raw data comprehensively. Additionally, Mixpanel's integration features are seamless and enhance its utility, making it a valuable tool in our toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Mixpanel offers an array of powerful features, its initial learning curve can be quite challenging. This complexity at the beginning may deter new users or prolong the time it takes to fully leverage its capabilities. Additionally, while the integrations are generally good, there can be occasional glitches or limitations in compatibility with other tools, which sometimes requires workarounds. These aspects, though manageable, are areas where Mixpanel could improve to enhance the overall user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel plays a crucial role in solving our data analysis and insight generation challenges. By providing detailed analytics, it enables us to understand user behavior and track key metrics effectively. This insight is instrumental in shaping our strategies and making informed decisions. The ability to see raw data also allows for a granular level of analysis, leading to more tailored and effective solutions. As a result, Mixpanel has been a significant asset in enhancing our decision-making processes and driving business growth. Its benefits are reflected in our improved targeting, optimized marketing strategies, and more efficient allocation of resources.

It is a good tool to understand the user sagment and don't find anything which is not suitable

We are in phase of understanding our users and it help in DAU, WAU and MAU segment for both app and web.

What do you like best about the product?
The funnel provides you with the ability to create segments target audiences, automate campaigns and send notifications. It's a method, for organizing events tailored to each page or activity and monitoring user engagement. Involvement in customizing various aspects that the organization prioritizes is crucial. Seamless integration with the customer success representative, from their team is effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mixpanel can be a bit challenging for beginners to grasp and navigate initially.
The customer support system of Mixpanel is not up, to par. Doesn't provide assistance.
The subscription fees, for Mixpanel are quite costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of late attribution and using this tool we can access the perdormance data in almost real time. It also gives a comprehensive view of the product/brand performance

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of setup and reporting capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I don't like about the software. It does everything I want and need it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to view data and produce reports on in-app events. This is benefitting me by providing valuable insight into product usage that I'm not able to easily gather from Segment.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you're used to the setup of mixpanel and it's possibilities, it's a very powerful tool to generatre valuable insights about your product and its usage by your customers. It helps us every day to understand problems, to support decision making and prioritizing ressources.
What do you dislike about the product?
With some features (like cohorts) it's hard to keep a good overview if you're using it extensively. There is no possibnility to group chorts into projects or similar, it gets very messy after time. Some filters in the reports don't save reliably and I always have to adjust the report again, which is annoying.And I can't find a public roadmap or similar to know what changes or new features are coming next, would be great to have some insight here.

Understanding our customers, features and our product in general. It supports our decision making and creates valuable insights. It helps allocating ressources and prioritizing.

What do you like best about the product?
Using the mixpanel has been very important to understand the users' journey within my application, along with the main product bottlenecks. The possibility of integration with Onesignal has also been very efficient for marketing campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Both for me and my team using the mixpanel is not so intuitive. We understand that it is a tool that requires greater learning before using it. I believe that improving ease of use would make a lot of difference in user experience

Mixpanel helps in understanding my app's user journey so our product can be optimized. In addition, it assists in the segmentation of users via cohort for use on other platforms

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel allows me to track specific actions that users take within an app. This granularity provides a deeper understanding of user behavior. I also love the real-time analytics for tracking the immediate impact of changes and launches.
What do you dislike about the product?
- The granularity and detail offered by Mixpanel can be overwhelming and has a high learning curve to use it effectively
- The pricing model is not scalable, especially for startups or smaller companies with tight budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to track:
- user events and product analytics on which features are being used the most,
- number of users and product/feature adoption
- analysing reception of new features!
