Great tool for Customer Success for showing product usage to clients, could be simpler to use
What do you like best about the product?
Very visual, engaging and colourful graphics. Lots of flexibility when wanting to see usage for different areas of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to get to what I want to see. While there is a lot of granularity available, it can be hard to understand the options of how to show the data you want to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Mixpanel is its powerful event-based tracking, which provides deep insights into user behavior. The Funnels and Cohorts features are excellent for understanding user journeys and identifying trends. It’s also easy to navigate, making it accessible for teams of all sizes to create custom dashboards and reports tailored to their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Mixpanel is that it can take some time to fully master, especially when setting up more advanced tracking. The pricing might also be a bit high for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps us understand user behavior in detail, allowing us to identify trends, optimize user journeys, and make data-driven decisions. This has led to improved product engagement and more targeted marketing efforts, ultimately driving better business outcomes.
Great product that I use daily
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Mixpanel to check which areas of our product our clients are engaging with. During the early adoption phase, this is extremely valuable information and often something our clients also want to see. I also find it very useful for analysing areas of our platform that clients are not using and giving them actionable insights based on this. I can get this information very quickly once I am used to using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
When first starting with Mixapnel, it can be a little difficult to navigate the product but once used to it, it is easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Within our product, we are not able to see how often our clients are using the product in general and specific areas. Mixpanel allows us to do this which is very helpful for spotting which clients may be at risk and those where we can help drive adoption.

Mixpanel has been instrumental in helping me understand user behavior with its detailed analytics and customizable dashboards. It’s intuitive yet powerful, making it easier to make data-driven decisions quickly.

Mixpanel's complexity can be overwhelming at times, especially for newcomers, making the learning curve steep.

Mixpanel solves the problem of understanding user behavior in real-time, helping me make data-driven decisions to enhance product performance and user experience.
Simple and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The simple stuff is easy and straight forward, you can make very useful graphs quickly

some of the more complex stuff is hard to understand how to do for example "returning users"

Ive been able to track the usability of my app, mainly after i release new features and track how they change that useability
Mixpanel - an excellent analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the freedom it gives me as a Product Manager to easily tap to data about my products usage and get significant insights.
For me, as a PM, it means that I can easily come to discussions where I need to state my opinion about a certain direction the product should go with and that provides baseline for the discussions.
In addition, as someone who also manages PMs, it creates the same discussion for products I want to get oversight on.
This help us align OKRs and objectives across the entire company and product team.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some pesky UI bugs and sometimes we have bugs in the data and I feel like we are getting moderate support for them asking us to go through many tedious steps on our own instead of helping us out figuring them out.
A few months back I approached with several bugs and I got referenace to a lot of articles to read to try and resolve them and that wasn't extremely helpful, some of these bugs still persist.

I can easily enage anyone in my company with data about our product analytics and it benefits since it leads to data-drive discussion and not gut-feeling discussions.

It is very data-filled, and you really do need to look up resources and spend time to navigate the user interface.

While Mixpanel offers a rich array of features, the sheer number of them can sometimes be overwhelming, especially for new users. It can take some time to fully grasp all the functionalities and leverage them effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems it solves is the need for detailed insights about user interactions and behavior with our product. this allow us to understand our user better, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
To give more examples, it helps us pinpoint exactly where users drop off, which features are most popular, and how different segments of our user base interact with our product.

The worst issue: Difficult to handle non-time reports (e.g. x-axis is some segment and not a timeline)
If this will be fixed, we'll be much more motivated to abandon Looker and move solely to Mixpanel

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel makes data anaylsis and visualization as easy (& beautiful) as possible. We've been able to answer any questions that have ever come up. The dashboard tool is a great way to have an at-a-glace visual of our product. I always have several Mixpanel tabs open at any given time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative thing I can say about Mixpanel is hyper-specific, but when using the "Funnels" view, I wish I could toggle off the first action in the funnel from the display, as it is always 100%, so that visualization isn't needed. That is my only complaint after 4 years of use!

Mixpanel solves all of our product analytics, and makes anaylyzing data an enjoyable task.
