A great discovery tool, easy to implement
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation, very flexible for the non technical professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve for new employees is high. It would be a great help to have introductory videos to help new users in the company to understand better the use cases and principles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving lead to prospect and prospect to customer conversion rates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to dig down your user acquisition process and understand what's going on, Mixpanel will help you with very little effort from the engineering standpoint. It takes a little effort to understand what variables you would like to track, but once you set it is outstanding.

intuitive interface and advanced data capabilities

Mobile app implementation is surprisingly complex, and the documentation is too dev-focused

A better understanding of user behavior, and really easy behavior based campaign testing

Perform a proper assessment of your analytics needs before you start implementing mixpanel

The SDK and visualizations are really simple to set up and track everything that’s inportant

Missing notifications for Events to either email, slack or a simple webhook. The live view is great but isn’t far enough in the past

Simple and minimalistic design, easy to use. The events in Mixpanel are not the best side and sometimes you can not provide some informations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is delay in the app and the events do not provide real results.

Mix panel gives a big understanding in what the user has exactly done.

it has so much info it's sometimes unclear,. very hard to use the filters in order to search the user by email or any other filter

It helps me understand exactly ehat the user does inside the appp. gives me insights

Review of using Mix Panel
What do you like best about the product?
Live tracking of the user helps in quick development & debugging. It is a must have feature for monitoring & quick resolution of issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hitting refresh to load the results especially for segmentation is pretty slow. At times, it seems if the event has not triggered but in fact it gets timed out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking user interaction at various touch points. Better understanding of the user.

I like the user interface, it's pleasant.
I like the constant updates and willingness to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
difficulty to validate the accuracy of mixpanel. I suspect that some events are missed but it's very difficult to debug. Also, some users don't have all the proper parameters and I couldn't figure out why.
Lack of proper action items - I usually don't feel I know what to do with all the data.
Some metrics or tools in mixpanel are hard to understand, so I don't use most of them. For example, it is very difficult to understand for me the retention tab. Not sure what kind of retention is actually being measured.
Mobile app is very limited - missing the explore function for example
