Great Learning Tools and Visualizations, but UI Can Be Overwhelming for New Users

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, a lot of great docs and tools for learning how to leverage, good options for data visualization
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI feels a little bit more complicated than other dashboarding tools, a bit overwhelming when i share dashboards with colleagues who never use dashboarding tools

Incredible Flexibility, But Comes with a Learning Curve.

What do you like best about the product?
Amazing flexiblity both in managing how you want to build your events and building dashboards to review results. Integrating is a breeze and uptime is a non-issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility still comes at a cost, less experienced teams often have problems organizing themselves and understanding the tool. Some documentation on best practices or industry standards embedded in the experience may go a long way to help with the learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily event tracking through the application.
It helps us understand user behavior and feature adhesion, guiding us towards more assertive plans and roadmaps.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel divides into both a UAT environment and Production. This allows for complex data set testing. The functional panes then can be broken down. As a user I can pivot rapidly. It is easy for me to use my knowledge of pivotables and excel to extrapolate to incredible findings my org can use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I would like to see mixpanel implement Ai to do footprinting analysis. More structure around how that could be used. As well much of its integration leans on marketing tools. I would like to see more engagement based tools, crms, and integrations into linux or other languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel is going through datasets based on product usage, features we have in our own SaaS and what we could pivot too.

What do you like best about the product?
Mixpanel has a clean, intuitive interface that makes tracking and visualizing user behavior simple once everything is set up. The dashboards are visually appealing, and the UX makes it easy to analyze trends or compare cohorts at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, exporting cohorts throws errors, which can interrupt reporting workflows. To use Mixpanel effectively, you really need to understand all the tracked events in detail — otherwise, both cohort setup and data analysis can become confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps consolidate user behavior data across multiple touchpoints, making it easier to measure engagement, retention, and funnel conversion in real time. This saves time on manual reporting and supports more data-driven marketing and product decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity and ease of use of Mixpanel, which make the tracking process very easy after understanding the mapping of events and attributes. The real-time insights features and dashboards are also extremely useful for checking data and understanding the user journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the possibility of me making queries with all the data I capture.

I use Mixpanel to map the use of the digital platform, understand the volume of users, and improve the user journey. It is easy to use, offers real-time insights, and facilitates tracking user actions.

What do you like best about the product?
I've found Mixpanel incredibly useful for understanding user interactions with our product. Its ability to filter by various dimensions and create detailed reports and alerts is indispensable. I especially value the ability to generate multiple reports within a single board, allowing me to organize related data efficiently. This functionality has been essential for sharing valuable insights with my team, ultimately helping us make informed decisions and shape product strategies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with certain aspects of Mixpanel, even after two and a half years of usage, due to insufficient onboarding. The ability to create different user groups, like those involving cohort builders for users who signed up 30 or 60 days ago, presents a challenge. The onboarding experience was not comprehensive enough to cover these more complex functionalities. For parts where I received a proper onboarding by my peers, I manage fine, but without proper instruction, usability can be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mixpanel helps me understand user interactions, prioritize feature development, and shape our product. It acts as a window into user behavior, which is crucial for making informed decisions.

Creating the boards is great for keeping an overview.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analysis of "Flows" is still a mystery to me. For me, it is almost impossible to break down the flows cleanly, as the option "Expand by Property" is only sometimes (?) displayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand user behavior and analyze UIs.
