Powerful Segmentation, Complex Setup

  • October 16, 2025

I love how Salesforce Data Cloud has significantly simplified segmentation for my marketing team. They can now create the segments they desire without writing SQL or code, using just natural language and a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface. The identity resolution feature is impressive, and the prebuilt connectors are highly convenient, allowing for out-of-the-box use alongside segmentation capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?

It was a painful process, though it was a one-time effort.","I would like to have more ingrained data governance that can mirror my Salesforce score, permissions, and governance.","The pricing model is very complicated. If it were simpler, it would make it easier to use more of the data cloud."}
