We successfully achieved our SOC and ISO certifications in record time, though we would have appreciated more clarity regarding the final timeline during the process.

Scrut is a great partner for an organisations compliance journey
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about scrut automation is its library of templates and all the structured reminders about the pending complaints activities. And, the compliance activities that are due, there are date reminder notifications that make sure that everybody is on track and on point and the entire team is able to monitor each and every deadline each and every activity from the central platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. Whenever we got stuck, the scrut automation team was always at hand to help with a quick solution and a lot of helpful guidance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started a journey with scrut, for our soc2 compliance journey. We are in the process of closing our pcidss compliance certification as well. Scrut has enabled us to consolidate and automate most of our compliance workflows and also given us valuable insights into all the areas that we need to improve at.
Completed SOC2 Type 2 including the audit in a short timeframe.

What do you dislike about the product?
In our case, we seem to have skipped over Type 1 to Type 2. While we're happy to have Type 2 now, it seems we could have been using Type 1 in sales and marketing materials for some time already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our key goal with completing SOC2 was to be able to demonstrate to customers that they can trust our security. This is now in place along with associated improvements to policies and security.

What do you like best about the product?
As a startup, we chose Scrut to guide us through the entire SOC2 process — and they exceeded our expectations. The Scrut team provided valuable education on SOC2 requirements, offered ready-to-use templates, and were consistently responsive to our questions. Their biweekly check-ins and being available in Slack helped keep us organized and on track.

Nothing - we are a startup and the platform/portal worked really well for us.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Scrut Automation is how seamlessly it streamlines compliance and security workflows. The platform provides excellent visibility into control effectiveness, audit readiness, and risk management — all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Scrut Automation is a strong platform overall, one area that could be improved is the user experience when navigating certain modules — especially when managing multiple frameworks or controls simultaneously. Also the modules like risk, controls, evidence are though interrelated but confusing at the same time.

It helps in providing a centralized platform for managing all the compliances.
