We had a lot to learn, but Scrut helped with that
What do you like best about the product?
The policy templates and templates for evidence tasks were extremely helpful. We had a dedicated resource we could communicate with daily, if needed, to help us address our gaps in our security profile. Overall, I found Scrut to be a complete platform covering our needs to achieve SOC 2 Type II and ISO27001:2022 compliance. We were able to manage our GDPR and HIPAA compliance as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few things that I think could have been explained better in the materials. We encountered a few bugs in the platform. Having pre-filled vendor assessments for common vendors like Microsoft Azure and HubSpot would have been helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut is identifying the gaps we have in our security profile and helping us align our resources to fill those gaps. Before Scrut, it was a struggle to answer complex security questionnaires from potential customers. Now that we have a better handle on what is and is not needed to manage our security, we can answer those questions much faster. The Scrut AI feature helps greatly with that, by referencing our actual approve policies to automatically pre-fill answers to the security questions we receive.

User-Friendly GRC Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Scrut Automation offers a easy-to-navigate interface that simplifies complex compliance processes. It has significantly reduced our manual effort in managing audits, policies, and risk assessments. Real-time dashboards are super useful. Their support team is responsive and address the queries with patience.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven’t encountered anything negative. I haven’t explored all the features yet to comment on potential limitations. As I use it more, I’ll be in a better position to give detailed feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Automation is helping us streamline our compliance journey by organizing documentation, managing controls, and tracking audit readiness in one place. It reduces the manual effort typically required during audits and brings more structure and visibility to compliance processes. Even though I haven’t explored all features, the platform and support team have made it easier to approach frameworks like SOC 2 with confidence.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout aspects of Scrut Automation is how easy it makes framework implementation and customization. Setting things up was straightforward, and being able to tailor custom frameworks to match our specific compliance needs has been incredibly useful. Throughout the process, the Scrut team has been consistently supportive and quick to respond, which made a big difference.
The platform also excels in managing third-party risks. It has streamlined how we assess and monitor vendor compliance, giving us better visibility and making the overall process much more efficient.
Another area where Scrut adds value is in aligning our internal policies with regulatory standards. The improved policy mapping feature has made it easier to ensure we're meeting compliance requirements without getting bogged down in complexity.
We’ve also found the cloud asset management module particularly useful. It simplifies the task of adding and organizing assets, and the entity-wise breakdown has helped us understand our environment more clearly and make informed improvements.

Scrut.io’s biggest strength is their team—they’re true partners who guide you through compliance and audit prep without requiring deep security expertise. Their support makes it easy to stay on track and build confidence in your InfoSec program.

As a newer platform, Scrut.io is still evolving—while that means occasional rough edges, it also means we’ve seen features rapidly improve based on our feedback. It's clear they’re listening and building fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Automation is solving the complexity and overhead of managing security compliance across frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Instead of manually tracking controls, collecting evidence, and preparing for audits, the platform automates much of that work through integrations, workflows, and real-time monitoring.

What do you like best about the product?
Scrut has been helping kissht for past 3 years for the audits of ISO, SOC2 and other RBI related frameworks like SAR-DL. The CS team has been proactive to our request.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now we haven't face any issues though number of integration can be increased.

Easy to use, good for achieving modern compliance.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user friendly, support and account management are responsive. It is quite easy to implement and transition to their model of GRC and get to a proper state of compliance. There is quite a few integration that fit very well our current ecosystem. The development and growth especially for the integrations is going in the right direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are lacking like the integrated management of privacy and threat management. Work should be done on more integrations.

Help us achieve compliance with our standard and keep us up to date. Evidence system is very good.
