What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Scrut Automation is how it simplifies SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance. It centralizes evidence collection, automates repetitive tasks, and provides realtime visibility, saving us significant time and effort during audits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loved it, Scrut team helped a lot to achieve our goal. Nothing Negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Automation solves the complexity of managing SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance by streamlining evidence collection, mapping controls, and automating reminders. This saves us time, reduces audit stress, and ensures we maintain continuous compliance with minimal manual effort
Getting our SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO certification on time has been a seamless experience with Scrut.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple-to-use tool, Project Manager is very helpful. We get complex tasks explained to us in a more simple fashion. Guidelines are maintained well, they also help us in making sure we stick to those guidelines while we achieve our certifications. The project manager was definitely very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Follow-ups with the team had to be done multiple times, and by the end of the certification, post the audit getting the certificate took slightly more time than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us by providing us guidelines to achieve our SOC 2 and ISO compliance. Also, they are helping us in getting our certification.

What do you like best about the product?
Scrut Automation has made compliance management far less stressful for our team. The platform centralizes policies, evidence collection, and audit workflows in one place, saving us a significant amount of time. The dashboard makes tracking progress towards compliance certifications straightforward, and customer support is responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is very helpful overall, there is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, especially for teams new to compliance automation. Some integrations could be deeper to eliminate manual work entirely, and the reporting feature could offer more customization. These are not dealbreakers, but improvements in these areas would make the experience even smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Automation is helping us solve the problem of time-consuming compliance processes. Instead of chasing evidence across multiple teams and tools, we now have a centralized system that tracks everything for audits and certifications like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. This has reduced the time we spend on audit prep, improved accuracy, and given us greater confidence in our security posture.

Scrut Automation is an easy to use platform, and provides helpful templates to get policies built. The Scrut team are very supportive on the journey and help to keep activities on track.

I don't have any real complaints about the platform, but rather that the compliance work itself can be quite a lot to handle while trying to navigate in a startup environment.

Cost effective and great customer experience
What do you like best about the product?
Scrut is cost-effective, easy to use, and clear on process. Their support team is responsive, and the account management is excellent, which makes the overall experience smooth and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Earlier, some tasks required more manual effort, but Scrut has improved significantly with better integrations and automation. The manual work we still do is mainly because we don’t yet have certain systems in place (like an HRIS), which Scrut would otherwise automate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Automation is helping us manage compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2, as well as the ongoing management of our compliance program. It also supports our security testing processes, making it much easier to stay audit-ready and maintain strong security practices without adding unnecessary manual workload.

Scrut Automation has been instrumental in simplifying our compliance journey. Their platform not only streamlines the entire compliance readiness process but also comes with exceptional support from their team. They are always proactive in resolving queries, jumping on calls whenever needed, and ensuring that we have everything in place to stay audit-ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little to dislike about Scrut Automation. If anything, a few areas could benefit from more customization to fit unique internal workflows. However, this hasn’t been a blocker, as the platform already covers most compliance requirements well.

Scrut Automation helps us organise and track our compliance activities in one place. Earlier, it was difficult to keep everything updated manually across different teams and documents.

SCRUT GRC Tool helps us to implement all the controls and requirements for the BSI Audit

The SCRUT agent can be a little buggy but this is not he deal breaker
