Smooth implementation process by Scrut
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is user friendly and the modules like Audit, Security Awareness, and the Risk Management help us to maintain our compliance in an efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such till now. The platform has been self sufficient in helping us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In order to mainain our security compliance, The scrut automation platform helps us to keep a regular check on the different modules such as evidences and policies. It also helps us to maintain the Cloud Compliance by providing a routine scan every 24 hours.

In today’s dynamic regulatory landscape, we needed a comprehensive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform to streamline risk management, ensure regulatory adherence, and found Scrut as a perfect fit for that.

We didn;t find anything as dislike about scrut automation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are undergoing SOC 2 Type II implementation and audit using Scrut platform and its services.
User Friendly Platform with meaningful human interface
What do you like best about the product?
Scrut serves as a digital repository and facilitating compilation of policies, evidences and findings in one place with full visibility on status. However it does equally well on the human front with a dedicated account manager who really puts you on track for the certifications. A classic combination of digital and human elements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Everything was quite adequate for our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It bridges the gap between human subject matter experts and a digital platform for all aspects of IT security, governance and admin. It gives a startup like us full visibility to our audit status and handholds us all the way from start to finish on the certifications journey.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Very good integration for most of available apps, systems and clouds.
2. Provide very good progress tracking for the entire certification preparison phase.
3. Very good customer support for not only the certification process but the cybersecurity and certification knowledge sharing also. Support response is very fast.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Sometimes links not working in the email but got the support to address.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut is helping Venti with ISO27001, SOC2 and CSA Star.
Scrut Automation helps us to keep in control over our ISO and SOC2 frameworks
What do you like best about the product?
Most useful is the automated reminders on updating the evidence. Furthermore, a lot of controls regarding employees and vendors can be monitored from within Scrut. The dashboard provides a great overview of the status of the different frameworks you as a company have implemented. In our case this is ISO-27001:2022 , SOC2 Type II and GDPR. It also provides automatic scanning of your public cloud solution which covers a big part of the needed controls. We use Scrut Automation in combination with Confluence and Jira to be able to have the most workflow related evidence collected automatically. All in all it saves us lots of time which we can than use to improve our overall ISMS-score.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software and underlying databasesystem are a little buggy which sometimes results in loss of information. In the end the issues are solved. but this takes longer than needed and SA could definitely improve on that aspect.

It helps us to maintain control over our ISMS-frameworks being ISO-27001, SOC2 and GDPR.
Great Platform and a Knowledgeable and Highly Supportive Team
What do you like best about the product?
Their platform is really well built and provides all necessary information. Their team is also very knowledgeable about the different certifications. They are very responsive and helpful throughout the journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is scope for improvement in training the customer to provide an overview of the certifications and the implications of the different actions to be taken on the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use platform, excellent customer support and onboarding. We were hepled with our doubts every step of the way and had an easy time setting up all controls for SOC2/ISO readiness. Always prompt on Slack when we needed help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. Had only positive experiences till now.

Scrut helped us identify the things that were missing for SOC2/ISO compliances and helped us rectify them with minimal effort.

What do you like best about the product?
It helped us in completing ISO 27001 & SOC 2 T2. The Dashboard is user friendly. Also it helped us in improving the Infra internally too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The experience was good, but we faced some issue with the monitoring agent and also the navigation was quite confusing.

Scrut helped us in ISO 27001 & SOC 2. The process was easy. The product and especially the dashboard helped us a lot.

Efficient & Effective
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how organized they were, and how they really made the process a streamlined workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides were perhaps solely in space of language. The team we worked with was based in India and a lot of the written materials we worked with were peppered with spelling and grammar errors, and some basic formatting stuff. But really, that was it.
