Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Lot of automations has made my life easier along with top notch customer success team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes are hard to understand and some short form videos for certain tasks would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ISO20071 compliance.
A Solid Platform That Keeps Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Scrut Automation makes compliance processes incredibly efficient and transparent. I especially appreciate its intuitive dashboard, continuous control monitoring, and integrations with key tools like AWS, Google Workspace, and Jira. It saves countless hours during audits and keeps our organization always audit-ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime scrut agent behaves differently which leads to a couple of false positives but the support team is receptive to feedback and constantly pushing updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Automation is helping us streamline and automate our compliance processes for frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. It significantly reduces the manual effort involved in tracking evidence and policies, tracking controls, and staying audit-ready. By integrating with our existing tech stack, it provides real-time visibility into our compliance posture, which saves time, reduces risk, and boosts confidence with customers and auditors. it is beneficial for employees security trainings as well.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Scrut Automation is its comprehensive support for compliance readiness. It offers well-structured policy templates and automated tools to assess and monitor our network and security posture. This has made it significantly easier for us to align with compliance requirements efficiently and with greater confidence. Also they provided really good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we haven’t encountered any major issues with Scrut Automation. The platform has met our expectations for compliance support, and our experience has been smooth and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut Automation is helping us streamline our compliance journey for frameworks like ISO and GDPR. It provides ready-to-use policy templates, facilitates vulnerability assessments (VAPT), and offers a centralized platform to manage everything related to compliance—policies, evidence collection, cloud security tests, and policy distribution across the team. This consolidation has made our compliance process more efficient, structured, and less time-consuming.

1. Their cloud automations which detects non-complaint assets in aws was super helpfull in getting our infra ready for review.
2. Adding scrut to our AWS account to getting to see the cloud issues was super fast.
3. Their support and team was helping us out along the with any issue we have during the whole process, by giving us good starting templates for lots of document, and reviewing our submission for any issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the cloud-automations takes bit more time to run, It would be great if there is cancel and re-run button, because when I make a infra change , I have to wait for the current test to complete, then trigger it again sometime.

Doing VAPT test on our site/resource to make sure there are no vulnerabilities on our infra/resource.

Made our SOC 2 process 10x easier
What do you like best about the product?
Scrut has been an absolute game-changer for our security and compliance processes. Preparing for SOC 2 can be pretty overwhelming, but Scrut takes care of a lot of the manual work through automation. Their integrations with tools like AWS and Google Workspace automatically pull in the evidence we need, which saves us tons of time. The control tracking is super easy to follow, and I love that everything we need is neatly organized in one place — no more digging through spreadsheets or chasing team members for updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the dashboard layouts could be a bit more flexible — having more ways to personalize the views would be great. Also, getting all the initial integrations connected takes a little time and patience, but once that’s done, the system largely runs on its own without much maintenance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Scrut, staying on top of our audit requirements felt really disorganized. There was no clear system, and we were constantly worried about missing something. Now, we have complete visibility into our security posture at all times. It’s saved our team a lot of hours and reduced the back-and-forth during the audit process. We recently wrapped up our SOC 2 Type 2 audit and it was way smoother, thanks to Scrut.

What do you like best about the product?
Scrut has helped us in acheiving various compliance requirements which can be overwhelming for any organisation. The integrations helped to get certifications in a matter of few weeks.

The scrut agent can be buggy at times but the support team has helped us for quick solutions

Scrut has been a huge help for our security and compliance efforts. Preparing for SOC 2 can be a nightmare, but with Scrut, a lot of the heavy lifting is automated. Their integrations with AWS, Google Workspace, etc., pull in evidence automatically, and the control tracking is super intuitive. What I really appreciate is that everything’s in one place — no endless spreadsheets or chasing people for documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the dashboard views could be a little more customizable. Also, it takes a bit of time to set up all the integrations properly, but once that’s done, it mostly runs on autopilot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Scrut, staying audit-ready felt chaotic. Now, we have a clear, ongoing view of our security posture. It’s saved the team tons of time and removed a lot of uncertainty around compliance. We recently completed our SOC 2 Type 2 audit, and the process was significantly smoother thanks to Scrut.
