What do you like best about the product?
It covers certifications like ISO, SOC 2 etc end to end with minimum effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of things can be automated more like gathering evidences

It maintains the security & privacy posture. Showcases that the company is following protocols to stay secure, which helps position the company better against competitors.

Exceptional Compliance Tool with Seamless Integration and Outstanding Support

What do you like best about the product?
This is truly one of the best tools if you work in the banking sector or any other field where certifications, compliance, security, data management, and policies are crucial. It is very easy to use and implement, and connecting your organisation's resources is straightforward. Their support is excellent—they guide you through every phase of the audit process. If you have multiple accounts, such as cloud services or code repositories, you can connect them all seamlessly. You can also create an evidence history according to your requirements. They provide templates for nearly every policy or type of evidence you might need. Additionally, they continuously scan every attached resource. They also schedule dry run and verify you evidences too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, running certain tests manually can take a long time to complete. Additionally, after a test finishes, I receive two separate emails—one indicating a failure and another confirming completion. This can be a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this tool we're managing all our IT resources, compliance like SEBI CSRF, ISO:27001 and others. Helpful in managing other policies, documents, cloud security and other.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Support and Usability

What do you like best about the product?
I did not have a positive experience with Scrut.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scrut Automation didn't solve any problems for me. The compliance burden was too heavy for my team, their collaboration timelines were slow and incompatible with my time zone, and their tools were severely lacking in helping to automate the process. When I tried to cancel, they kept charging me despite being in clear violation of the contract. The sales team was focused on making a sale without considering the logistics of working with an international team in different time zones. They misrepresented the amount of time required for SOC 2 compliance in their system and the extent of the burden they'd assume. The software is quite rough to understand, and even after weeks, I couldn't grasp which path to take to achieve a goal. It wasn't built with the user in mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unfortunately, Scrut Automation didn't solve any problems. The SOC 2 compliance burden was heavy, response times were slow, and the tools didn't effectively help automate the process.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use, making it straightforward to navigate. The platform offers comprehensive management of documents and artefacts needed for compliance certification and tracking. I frequently rely on it to organize my policy documents and monitor the progress of evidence collection. The customer success manager was very patient with us, very knowledgeable and very responsive to our questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the employee training module confusing to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company is quite small and does not have any dedicated compliance staff. The Scrut Automation platform has been extremely helpful, enabling the company to efficiently achieve both ISO27001 and SOC2 certifications within a year.

What do you like best about the product?
The whole process of defining controls, monitoring, and mapping is handled very smoothly, with an interface that is easy to use and straightforward to understand. The range of features and the frequency of updates are also quite good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transition between their account managers could be improved. It would be helpful if the new team was already familiar with the work that has been done, so I wouldn't have to explain everything again each time a new team takes over. Reducing the need to repeat information would make the process much smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scurt Automation has been instrumental in assisting us with obtaining our compliance certification and maintaining the certification. Also doing our penetration testing

What do you like best about the product?
The support team was really helpful, especially as I got accustomed to using the platform. I absolutely loved the ease of the compulsory learning and getting my entire company to complete the course was really simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me some time to navigate the system (like the Publish of Evidence was not so inuitive) so a self-study tutorial would have been a good starting point for me to ask fewer questions in the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Standardization and improving our asset and IT management. Before, it was non-existant. Now, it is clear and documented, which is great!
