What do you like best about the product?
I love the cross platform ability to work with our users workflow, not make security harder.

1Password has been working hard to fill in any holes they have and update regularly. I have no complaints, and feel that it is an ever improving product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password has just worked every time. The benefit to security has been phenomenal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product is worth its weight in gold for security and ease of use. Get started and add more items as you go.

Great for business and family

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
No one will use a password manager unless they find it easy to use. We switched from LastPass to 1Password mainly because of the superior interface. I dread teaching someone to use LastPass, I look forward to teaching 1Password.
What do you dislike about the product?
As administrator I would like to have more control over user settings in 1Password. It is possible for someone to make 1Password less secure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have people create decent passwords. A secure way to share password.

One Application does it all!

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using one password since it first launched way back when and I would be lost without it. Excellent program that holds everything that I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing to dislike about this program. If you dislike this program, you probably also like to kick puppies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great being able to set it and forget it. There's no way I can remember all my passwords and credit card numbers so the speeds up my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Best-In-Class Password Management

  • June 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Once set up, 1Password provides a seamless login experience, and can be a stopgap for shared logins in use cases where SSO isn't available or practical.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and password ingestion process can be a bit daunting. Sometimes the browser plugin doesn't parse the login window data correctly, resulting in a less streamlined login for specific sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password has solved two main needs. The first is for individuals to have a place to both manage and make more secure login credentials. The second is to serve as a repository for seldom-used but critical logins (such as admin-only accounts to SAAS assets or login credentials for network hardware management portals).

1Password is indispensable

  • June 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password provides cross-device, cross-platform, synchronized password vaults that give highly customizable passwords. 2FA can also be managed within your vault, so it truly becomes a one-stop-shop. I like that 1Password protects all of this information with 256-bit encryption and allows the use of U2F like Yubikey.
What do you dislike about the product?
Password generation can sometimes be a little tricky. In ideal circumstances, 1Password detects that you want to update an existing credential or create a new one when you are interacting with said features on a website. Sometimes 1Password falls short, and a newly generated password simply gets stored in your vault with no identifying information aside from the timestamp of when it was created. Advanced users know that they'll need to go into their password vault and manually update their credential with a new password. This can be challenging/confusing for beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Credential sharing at my organization is a necessity in some cases. This is handled by 1Password vaults, allowing several people to reach into the same pool of logins. Any one user can update the password and have that information instantly shared with everyone else on the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Strongly recommended; do it sooner rather than later to control teams passing plain text spreadsheets with shared credentials! They'll do this for lack of a better way!

Simple and syncable

What do you like best about the product?
Synchronisation and multifactor security.
What do you dislike about the product?
1Password sometimes crashes without a reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management is a breeze. Using generated passwords for all my accounts on the internet. The Watchtower and policies are a great way to keep the security of your company up to date. This makes all employees more aware of potential security hazards.

Great except 1 Major Issue

  • June 08, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is on the surface a great password manager. It can store detailed data in encrypted notes as well as passwords. The multiple vaults option makes it easy to separate work from personal accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, there is one huge failure that is impossible to fix. 1Password does not easily support non cloud based sync between multiple computers. They mandate that you use their own servers to store sensitive password data. I don't care how safe they believe they are, it is not an option to have such sensitive info on server we do not control. Because of that we are moving away from 1Password. What we need is a full normal WebDAV sync option that is fully supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used for all passwords for both web sites and other places that have a need for secured data.

1Password, usability

  • June 04, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Stores your complex difficult passwords in an easy-to-access way.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you use "suggested password" to generate a new password, 1password does not automatically store this. It is too easy to set a password which you don't know, and which 1password did not store, and is forever lost. Very frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves sharing passwords with other team members. Easy / fast login, as long as you stored the password you need and have the plugin.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Always capture the "Suggested password" before allowing it to be used on a website, because you won't be able to find out what it is otherwise.
