Rock solid security, ease of use, company-wide!
What do you like best about the product?
Vault sharing! It's very easy to custom share via departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sign in via fingerprint on mac disappears
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing password sharing, onboarding/offboarding employees with great ease and security has been the largest advantage.
No more lockouts
What do you like best about the product?
That everyone on the team has access to what log ons they need and this reduces the lock outs for wrong passwords being used. The time saved is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some websites still do not allow auto fill, even with the Chrome extension 1Password X.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of access to log ons, as staff are assigned to vaults that they need and no more writing password and logons on sticky notes and much less password resets. The time wasted with people getting locked out and coming to me for a reset we a lot, now this is minimal.
Fantastic way to secure and share sensitive information
What do you like best about the product?
Besides the security, I like the multi-platform support the most. Seamlessly works across mac, PC, mobile, and browser plugins!
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for possible improvement would be the browser plugin more effectively detecting already-existing login details for an entire domain. On rare occasion it will offer to save duplicate/similar entries for same website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employees were saving passwords in excel spreadsheets, sticky notes, text files, etc. All unsecure. And sharing passwords via unencrypted emails and chat. By implementing 1Password - we can securely share sensitive information only with those that need to access it. We use department vaults to compartmentalize information to the individuals that need it. In this new distributed, work-from-home 2020 environment - having this is a great source of piece of mind.
Simple and easy to manage, cuts out unnecessary back and forth and save us time.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface, regular contact with our success manager which lets us know we can use utilisation,
What do you dislike about the product?
Duplicate logins in various could be managed slightly better but rarely wastes more than a few seconds of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time, the thing we all need most!
Smooth experience and great functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
1Password offers a secure interface. It implements usefull functionalities and reports (e.g. watchtower, where you can see if passwords have been in a breach; Domain breach report lets the admin check email address within the company to see which email addresses have been exposed in a breach; guest sharing; document sharing; ...)
Starting to use 1Password was very straightforward for us, and the onboarding of new colleagues goes very smooth.
Contact with customer succes and with support is great.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, there is no straight forward way to share passwords with individuals, or within teams.
There are some workarounds, but not ideal. Currently, there is no way to share credentials for a limited time (e.g. with a client).
Currently no integration with MS Teams.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure workplace where password aren't written down, reused or too straightforward.
Different teams have their own Vault, so credentials are only shared on a need to know basis.
As we work both on Mac and Windows computers, a cross-platform solution is a necessity for us.
Due to great browser support, we lose less time with copy-pasting credentials.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
After some reviews of other solutions, we felt 1Password packed the best functionalities for our needs, at an affordable price.
MAKES ME FEEL SAFE AND AT THE SAME TIME, SMART.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. I like not thinking or having to go to a spreadsheet and worry that some bad actor can find the same spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't understand the difference between "Private" and "Personal". I didn't set it up correctly at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conserving time and frustration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great to have everything in one place and at the same time share passwords with those who need them. The price is right. This G2 questionnaire has less to be desired. If I get another error and it erases my answers again, I'm going to recommend to my coworkers not to to the survey.
1Password saves me headaches!
What do you like best about the product?
I only have to remember 1 password, secured
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime's the site I need to access have policy of expiring my password after a certain period of time, then I don't remember the original password to change to a new password
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am old and forgetful, I don't like writing password or using password to all my sensitive account, like bank and other personal stuff. I have different passwords for those and it's hard not to not forget which is which
If you manage a team, you need 1Password!
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up different levels of access. Onboarding and offboarding team members and giving them access to tools is easy peasy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any cons. I really enjoy using 1Password and it's a much better tool than anything else I have tried, especially if you handle teams that need different levels of access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Each of our departments has access to what they need and ONLY what they need. We are not under nor oversharing password access with anyone. 1 Password allows us to tailor permissions to a tee.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you handle a team, this is the best software to administer different access levels.
Simple, secure and very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use across all of my windows, mac, and android devices and the integration with Duo to ensure it is even more secure. Logging in with biometric information also adds to the ease of use for all staff. Management of all the vaults is straightforward and the ability to share passwords with a few select people outside of the organisation has proven to be a very useful feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The windows experience is not quite as slick as the mac experience although it doesn't seem to be impaired functionally. The only other quirk I've noticed and has been pointed out by a few users is that when authenticating with Duo it closes the 1Password window so requiring you to log in a 2nd time to access the password they're after.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to ensure all staff are equipped with the right tools to protect the business and ensures that we can satisfy all requirements of being PCI and GDPR compliant. This password management solution has proven to particularly effective in demonstrating to the board the importance of investing in security. The fringe benefits of Watchtower were great at the assessment stage in showing the board how some of their own habits were adding extra risk into the organisation. I've always found it particularly beneficial that the use of any new software is driven from the top down and in this particular case it worked perfectly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a Mac heavy environment then go for it, your users will thank you for it.
Life changing password manager
What do you like best about the product?
Perhaps "life changing" sounds like hyperbole when describing a password manager, but in this case it's entirely accurate. If I had to distill down to one aspect of 1Password that I like best, I would say it's the experience of using day to day. Filling in password, credit card, and personal information fields is so seamless and the integration with browsers so tight, that you start to take 1password for granted, which I think is the hallmark of well designed software, and a very difficult thing to achieve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally 1password doesn't do a great job when setting up new password entries pulling from login forms, or updating an existing password. Also the experience when creating a password entry on mobile isn't amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to solve a multitude of problems, including: making it easy to have a unique strong password for every account in use, making it easy to use one-time-password's / 2FA / MFA credentials, allowing passwords and other secret information to be securely shared within a team, providing essentially a cross-device bookmark manager of all the internet services I use, securely storing personal information (including bank accounts, insurance accounts, credit cards, etc) and making available on my mobile device and sharing with my family. The benefits I've realized include solving all of the above, allowing me to not rely on the printed out list of accounts and passwords that I used to use, ensuring my online accounts are as secure as possible, and my providing my family with easy and secure access to important online accounts.
