Simple and Effective Cloud Share
What do you like best about the product?
Fast and easy way to cloud share with exclusive file locking for creatives
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to mount snapshots for history versions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exclusive file locking and a cloud solution mostly for creative file types, i.e. Adobe / Autodesk (dwg)

Great tool for editing teams!
What do you like best about the product?
It just works great, you forget this is a cloud drive system and not a drive connected locally…
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like when I’m in a plane or offline and I don’t have the ability to edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to collaborate with editors around the world, very easily, to get projects done.
Offers an incredibly quick way to share content
What do you like best about the product?
We're able to share content across a team faster than ever. Everyone has real-time access to the same copy of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The install of the classic client on Apple silicon macs is painful. Having to share key file to be able to use SSO authentication is clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the product in our audio department to allow dubbers to collaborate on audio sessions. It's also used by a studio production to hold production assets and make them available for everyone working on the show.
Great for Production Teams on Macs
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to get in and use and connect. And support is great
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s been so problematic on PC’s with character counts and dragging things out moves it out not copies and searching is a pain. I know these are pc issues but it just feels like we’re able to do a lot on mac but then pc’s are different- wish there was more thought out balance of controls so users across devices have similar experiences.

Connecting 15 international editors who share premiere projects and saving them from relinking
An Absolute Must
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the ease of use. Even though a lot of things are happening in the background, it's like working on a local drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
No fault of LucidLink... especially with video production, fast internet is a must. I live in a rural area where fiber is not an option.

Allowing easy collaboration with associates and contractors.
Good file sharing service but needs to have more automated tagging

Hard to sort and keep organized compared to other DAM solutions

Lucid works great for us
What do you like best about the product?
I really love how quickly you can set up a multitude of people on lucid. I love the ability to only share certain folders as well. Works well for us with having a bunch of files and uploading them quickly and into one central hub.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a capability for the program to tag videos with certain key words to make searching easier for specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is solving the issue we were having with Google drive where we couldn’t quickly upload footage and then share that footage with our editors easily
Seamless - Best Cloud Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Its simplicity and integrated features. We needed a simple cloud drive mapped to a drive letter. Lucidlink is amazingly fast, and with its immutable snapshots, secure, and dead simple for our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a large team, it gets quite expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to get off local storage. We have a distributed user base, large files, and wanted more security than local file servers or NAS storage with the threat of ransomware always looming. VPNs were also always hit and miss for our users when traveling. We needed a simple cloud drive mapped to a drive letter. Lucidlink is amazingly fast, and with its immutable snapshots, secure, and dead simple for our users.
Great Solution for Businesses of All Sizes
What do you like best about the product?
We like how easy it is to use! We needed a storage solution for our photos and video. Moving, using and sharing large files had been a challenge. LucidLink has been a fantastic solution for us. And when we have questions, the support provided has been friendly and prompt.
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidLink might be more than we need. We're not a fancy post-production video house. We aren't handling the volume of content I'm sure many of your users are. This causes me to be concerned I'm over paying for the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using unreliable external hard drives for years worth of data and at risk of losing our content. Housing an on-site server didn't make sense for us. This is a perfect solution for us.
