The BEST cloud solution for just about any post production workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity is the best feature. There's really only one requirement: good internet. From there you can do just about any workflow the way you need it to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't think there's a downside unless you have bad internet speeds. Almost anything is possible in an offline post production workflow. An online workflow is still possible, but there are limitations that cannot be overcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a very recent situation a client required several complicated aspects. Lucid Link was the only option that checked every box. Things like Teradici and Jump just couldn't fix all the issues that would have arisen.
LucidLink made global collaboration almost seamless. And their service is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to install and operate.
Maximise upload and download(Caching) speed
Works almost seamless with the editing softwares
we're working on a daily basis with it across a few brands
It's scalable for future expansion
And their personal service and the people we're in contact with are great

What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't call it dislikes -
LucidLink continue to grow and improve - there are a few features being added which is great
waiting for version 3 :)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collaboration between sites (whether if it's home/office or globally between countries)
No need for tidous sending and spending on hard drives and shipments
and/or upload/downalod stuff from Google drive (which is very annoying)

What do you like best about the product?
Remote video editing streaming technology worked as described. Appreciate the administration features with multiple admin accounts, user/group management, and share-point configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
None since the addition of multiple administrator accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote video editing streaming as wewell as project backup and archival

After a brief lesson, it was very easy to learn and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not dislike any of what I experienced. I only used the trial to see if it was a good fit for my company. It is, but we could not move forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink makes it so easy to work together as a remote team. It eliminates the need for shipping hard drives to Editors.
Great Low Latency Server for Collaborative Video Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share files in realtime with team members
What do you dislike about the product?
Little information is presented when my device has problems connecting to a LucidLink Filespace, it makes it hard for me to try and remedy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building in archival services and further integration with Adobe CC, greatly benefits my work

Sometimes the connection drops and we need to reconnect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers cloud storage. It eliminates different costs.
In general works great, but an issue involving lucid and aspera connect hinders my workflow.
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing really new or useful has been added lately, but it still works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Add the ability to send files and folders to non-Lucid members. Add the ability to update the app without restarting each time, and setting permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps solve the problem of keeping my machines in sync when it comes to footage/media. Unfortunately the aspera issue presents issues with large files for me.

There really isn't much I don't like yet.

We had some issues with FedEx delivering drives on time.
A Great Solution For Just About Any Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity is my favorite part. Just the simple act of signing into the LucidApp makes it a much more enjoyable experience. I frankly wouldn't know who to compare it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think with our Avid Environment, it would be great for Lucid to integrate bin-locking into their platform natively, without having to rely on third party vendors like Hedge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many users who shuttle drives back and forth in locations. Last year, one of those drives contained very important material that was almost lost. LucidLink quickly improved that workflow.
Great service for working remotely!

Removed the hassle of file management across a remote team. No syncing errors - it just mounts like a drive and everyone is always on the same version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty solid service- maybe a way to work offline for those times when you have to keep working away from internet.
