It just works!

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It works, easy to setup and use. The admin console is also easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't easy to access multiple filespaces. This is not a big deal for most users, but it is for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
multiple locations using the same files... it solves the problems it was designed to solve and those are the same problems I was having...

Great to remotely work

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
A quick way to share files with team members working remotely. It's easy to install and use. We can also connect to many drives and operate in more than one filespace simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have access to the filespace using a smartphone app. Another thing is it would be great to mount the filespace to work offline. The generated link doesn't work well to click on it when we share it in some applications like Discord.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink is helping to share files for team members working remotely. We also use it to back up our work files because they are big, and we have a lot of space to use in LucidLink filespace.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed how easily I could browse via the virtual drive. Usually I worry about space but the virtual drive made that much easier to manage my files
What do you dislike about the product?
We like to share links to files or folders especially when dealing with client files so that it the one major downfall that we experienced with lucid link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass media storage that is accessible to our remote team members without having our own server and the cost of maintenance

LUCID LINKS FOR 90MIN

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Me and my colleagues work on different continents and it has made our projects flow a lot better and created ease for us when working together on something!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of! Lucid Links has honestly just been really helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it solves is working from home! It allows me and my colleagues, who don't see each other in the office, to share projects and help each other without being in the same room!

Great for remote and hybrid teams needing to collaborate.

  • December 15, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has been a great addition to our workflow. We are a global video production company and before the Lucid integration, we were stuck endlessly uploading and downloading project files and assets if/when projects switched hands. Lucid's single source of truth has been revolutionary to our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
With every significant process change, you can experience friction with the rollout, and Lucid's integration is no different. The internet speeds needed for smooth playback have been one of our main hurdles outside the US offices, but we are learning how to overcome that while reaping the benefits of a cloud-based workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With many offices shifting to a remote or hybrid model, hopping from machine to machine means that you then have to have media travel from place to place, or worse you have to have a single project in multiple places never knowing which drive has the most up to date files/media. Lucid has been extremely beneficial in eliminating the guesswork of redundant files which makes hopping in and out of projects and even archiving media a breeze.

This is the service I’ve been waiting for!.

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We are a team of audio mixers and used to use another similar service that was not robust enough to handle hundreds of thousands of files that needed to be synced on a regular basis. Lucid does this with ease. There is no going back. This is the service we were waiting for!
What do you dislike about the product?
If there's any issue, it's just that you can only easily share with other lucid users. Otherwise you have to use another web sharing service. I am told Lucid will have this solved very soon, but this is not a make or break feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we routinely had inking issues with Dropbox as our partition had over half 1 million files, but lucid has no issue with this whatsoever.

My Workflow has never felt more efficient!

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Uploading files is an easy process. I've found both upload and download speeds faster than comparable products, which makes getting the files I need feel effortless. It is a great way to collaborate with other video editors in my organization to pass projects back and forth seamlessly. Gone are the days of shipping hard drives back and forth or postponing a deadline because we don't have access to all the files we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if it had the option to send a download link to clients who don't have the product so that they can download their files directly from our system without having to install it on their end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink is helping to solve our need for collaboration and file sharing in a remote working environment. This helps to increase our overall productivity and saves time with tight project deadlines.

Cloud based editing is a holy grail that has failed for years. LucidLink has cracked the code!

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This just works. Plus, the customer service is OUTSTANDING.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike. The migration from our previous cloud was somewhat painful, but again, the customer service went above and beyond to make it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote editing workflow is the number one problem that LucidLink solves. We've also given LucidLink clients to our ad agencies so they can deliver to us in a faster and more efficient way.

Best Thing For Remote Work Since the Internet!

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to use the directory to be able to edit my video files while working from home. It allows seamless workflow from one content person to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I do have connection issues that hinder my performance, but overall that is usually a symptom of my own internet problem rather that a LucidLink outage issue. Those are rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink is reducing the time spent transfering files from one content creator to another while allowing the review and share features in the Adobe suite to be used to their best capabilities.

LucidLink is like magic - a NAS in the cloud that appears to be local

  • December 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink allows me to mount a 'FileSpace' as a local drive. Not only can the FileSpace be larger than my laptop's disk, I can edit individual files that I could not fit on my local disk.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My media & entertainment customers combine LucidLink, for live full-resolution editing, with Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage as an S3-compatible long-term archive.
