A Lucid Fan
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of using Lucid is the relatively seamless file-sharing and version-syncing capabilities. The fact that Lucid operates like any other hard drive makes it easy for all team members to understand and organize.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of Lucid's connectivity issues and general system glitches make it hard to maintain a seamless workflow. Its tendency to disconnect when in the middle of projects and occasional upload issues make it an imperfect application. But with these issues remedied, I would easily recommend the software 10/10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They seem to be working on their internet upload speeds and general connectivity issues, helping smooth the workflow across my team and others. Lucid also seems to be disconnecting less frequently, which is a bonus.

LucidLink Provides the Best in Remote Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The speed - everything is handled on the back-end, so the end-user experience is incredibly simple. Incredibly reliable, even during outages, I've never lost any files. The persistent updates work without bogging the system down so accessing files is just like accessing your hard drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more administrative options through the site would help. While it works, having more fluidity between workspaces could help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast access to large amounts of data is unrivaled to Dropbox, Google Drive, and certainly FTP. This is the future of remote integration.
Perfect for decentralized post production.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Installation on newer Macs can be a pain because of the way Apple has made it more difficult to use system extensions like LucidLink.
- I wish users could be managed from the web GUI instead of just in the desktop client.

Industry Game Changer

I think this tool has enabled an effective workflow for keeping everything in the cloud in one place while also being useable from anywhere, from in-office to remote.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform his heavily reliant on internet speed and connection. I think it would be helpful if there was some more infrastructure for their pinning system, or the development of an "offline mode"

Lucid Link-Great Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Being a cloud based software..is great for archiving and to edit from, especially when traveling on the road.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like is when uploading, if the files have a strange character in the file naming it will fail the upload, which could be in the middle of lots of data/files. then you have to go backtrack what was uploaded and restart some of the folders etc?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Safety of file management..and the ease of knowing that where ever I go (with internet) I have access to my data/files.
