Amazing online storage solution for multi-platform envioriments
What do you like best about the product?
Super fast servers and option for lucid specific links which work across multiple platforms/operating systems. Sharing links between PC and Mac users couldnt be done easier
What do you dislike about the product?
Still quite poor UI for end user, missing some upload/network stats, i.e. upload status for individual files, remaining time to upload etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast, reliable storage and cross platform suitable links to files/folders
Been a great asset for our virtual team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to keep our raw video files and photos within easy reach for each member of our virtual team has been a real time saver and I didn't have to be an IT expert to use it or get it set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes our uploads are a bit slow but might be an internet issue moreso than a Lucid Link Issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps large video and photo files available for the whole team to access as needed at an affordable price.
Super efficient file storage for a team
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink is like Dropbox on steroids. It is crazy fast and in fact when two users are logged in at the same time, you can watch the other person making changes to your file in Finder or Explorer in real time. The changes are saved and walaa, you're now free to make your own. After our much maligned experience with a Microsoft product that could not ever seem to sync our files, LucidLink is a breathe of fresh air. The fact that they passed our legal teams inspection, IT and were able to get us set up with SSO is just an added bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of one, it works perfect for our use-case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syncing files amongst 50 users is a pain in the butt, but LucidLink has taken all the stress of that way. It literally works perfectly.
This is the future of nation-wide collaboration. Never buy, or ship a hard drive again!
What do you like best about the product?
User centric design. Very easy to implement with no need for specialized skills. Excellent customer support, you don't feel like an annuity. Top notch security and design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a data center in Western Canada.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nationwide cross-collaboration and security of assets.
You won't want to go back to a physical server once you've tried Lucid Link.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me and my team to work from anywhere knowing we have a single source of truth for our files. It also allows me to easily add clients as users so they have access to their assets without having to send weTransfer links etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can be a little slow when my internet connection is poor. The install process for the new apple silicon is a little complicated but easy enough when you've done it a couple of times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing remote working and easy file sharing.
Reliable solution to allow me to work from home
What do you like best about the product?
File management is excellent and being able to pin folders allows to work efficiently even when broadband is not great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything now. In general it's reliable and very stable.

having access to huge shear volume of assets instantly.
Solution to our remote editing problems
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for my team situated all across the world.

The implementation process was alittle tricky since we have M1/2 chips but very manageable to overcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have editors around the world. Lucid Link offers everyone the ability to feel like we're all in the same office.
A Workflow Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
We've searched for a collaboration storage like Lucidlink for years, that allows for organziation-wide unified file directories, with the hastle of VPN, storage limits, or sophisticated adminstration. We were able to implement this solutino in hours, not days, and have been using it daily for over a year.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside is limited access on web/mobile, which is a fair tradeoff for the feature set.

Unified file directory
Lucidlink Makes Remote Production Media Management Seamless
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidlink provides the capabilites of Networked Storage with media in the cloud, making it extremly easy to have multiple editors accessing the same files remotely without taking up local storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service has worked extremely well, my only hope is that they add mobile access for iPads and iPhones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had a lot of media taking up local space, and constantly had to reconnect footage going back and forth between editors. Lucidlink entirely removed these hurdles allowing seamless post production between multiple editors.
So far, so good but needs more testing.
What do you like best about the product?
Set-up is pretty painless, as is using new users and groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that setting a user's permission to "read-only" still allows that user to access and downoad files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up new users/artists is very straight forward and simple.
