What do you like best about the product?
Preventive Planning capabilities along with inspection management. it has enabled an user to to do inspection based monitoring and condition based monitoring. Follow up procedure defines in the activity checklist are great. Work flow management is provided an added advantage over who is responsible for Preventive management of an asset. Integration with various machine has enabled us to provide organization to real time ticket generation system and automate its work flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deffered maintenance elements are not clear and concise. Budget management capabilities should be defined more as they should be integrates with Capex budget of company.It should have budget control features in order to have control over budgeting.Contract management is not available in the EAM. We need to use still other solution for this purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timely management of resources including tools, employee qualification.
KPI management
Delegation of task
Check list management
Equipment update report.
Equipment Profile template
Management reporting
helps in capex budget preparations.
calculation of total life cost of the asset.
Maintenance inventory management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integration with other ERP software should be based on API based rather than integration using third party application. AI based recommendation should be for next failure should be part of the solution.Direct inventory cost should be saved in part information as it is saved for inventory part. Most importantly, is south Asian countries, budget controlling is required. it should be there. Asset number and Finance tag number integration has to be there. actually during my implementation, it difficult for us to maintain this relation as asset management defies asset different that are define is Fixed asset register in financial ledger.

What do you like best about the product?
Infor EAM support to top tier. Their responsiveness is timely and the mobile app is great
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation can be hard to read and the home screen suffers from several design flaws
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cataloged a litany of assets. We have improved the maintenance downtime for repairs. Also, we have been able to eliminate many paper-based processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure your assets are cataloged ahead of time. Implement mobile as soon as possible

What do you like best about the product?
Infor EAM is easy to adapt to our clients ' particular requirements. Even for non-developers, like company analysts, it's really easy and fast to set up. The Flex SQL feature allows us to implement customer business rules in just a couple of steps. In general, I think Infor EAM, instead of adjusting your company procedure to the scheme, offers a scheme to you to configure the request. Using customized grids and inboxes enables customers to really concentrate on what they need without other issues getting stuck.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to avoid confusion in the present version, EAM does not easily allows to delete the menus that have been used in past releases, but I actually find this to be even more confusing. Also, I feel it needs a bigger back-end support employee to configure customized hyperlinks. When it comes to cost, Infor EAM does not mention it anywhere, so you don't know what to expect when you want to acquire it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide assistance for Infor EAM in the production and service sectors for various clients, along with execution and consultation facilities, managing replacement components in storage facilities and preparing components for technology measures using product registers and tickets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before acquiring Infor EAM, determine exactly what you want to get out of this software and how much personalization you think you will need. Make sure you manage properly how the asset system of your company is generated and check it before you deploy it for customers when you begin configuring EAM.

What do you like best about the product?
City of Georgetown growing rapidly and we need software to handle all work orders and all processes. Infor EAM the best tool to handle our needs. Using Infor EAM in field easy to maintain work orders and complete using tablets. Implementation Accelerator provides wide variety of maintenance future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Relatively not easy to study and teach users to implement software.
Also, mobile app consume tablets battery and drain it quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Infor EAM it is easy to view all utilities information on the infor EAM web map
Using for work orders for many Service departments such as Utilities, Transportation, metering, Firee, Police and others.

I would Highly recommend to use Infor EAM to others.

What do you like best about the product?
The software provides an advanced, business specific array of modules that helps our company with asset management and maintenance activities. It's feature-rich and allows for flexible configurability, our end-users like the flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting has been a challenge but once configured provide a powerful tool to help our business meet our specific needs.

We've been able to streamline the maintenance process to extend the longevity of
assets and improve productivity.

Customizable to fit your business process

What do you like best about the product?
Infor Eam is user friendly and can be customized to fit unique business processes efficiently. No matter the size your asset structure and complexity of business process, this system is built to scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the latest relatively seamless update to version 11.3.2, Infor has addressed many of the relatively minor concerns with the previous version. From an asset management, inventory, maintenance and purchasing standpoint, I've not used a better system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile fleet asset costing- optimizing replacement
Capital Spending decisions-when it's time to replace machinery
Maintenance wrench time improvements, planning and scheduling efficiencies
Inventory sizing- how much, and what inventory items should we have on hand
Purchasing process optimization- Lowering our cost to procure a product

What do you like best about the product?
Infor EAM is very configurable by user. That makes it easy for the specific user group to only have access to what is important to them. The user dashboard or start center is easy to configure with various inboxes and KPIs. Infor EAM, with the addition of ION, integrates with virtually any third party entities. We recently purchased the ION add-on and are working on some integrations to streamline data collection and provide more flexible reporting. Infor plays very well with Excel. If canned reports don't work for you, export the data into Excel and create your own dynamic report. Within EAM, the structure is very configurable. It is easy to set up and tweak menus and screen designs with ADMIN access.
What do you dislike about the product?
The canned charts/reports on the dashboard are not that great and can't be easily reconfigured....we just turn them off. Custom reporting is a bit cumbersome if you don't have in depth knowledge of Cognos. It can be easier to export the data in Excel format and create your own dynamic reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Infor EAM has been a great tool for preventive maintenance. PM schedules are easy to set up and monitor centrally. We are starting to use data within Infor towards reporting OEE for the entire organization. Adding the Infor ION module is allowing us to communicate with other disparate data sources and create more flexible reporting. ION has allowed us to connect to our plant MES system to automate the collection of cycle count data for meter based PMs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For best results on initial startup and implementation, follow the recommended sequence of events and training schedule for best results. This will minimize the follow up work to correct issues. Also, partner with a good third party consulting group that is an Infor partner. They are generally much less expensive and you can build a good relationship. We've been working with Digital Thinker for several years and they know our system and how we like to configure it.

Utility using EAM

What do you like best about the product?
You can write code to help fix most problems. Lots of 3rd party companies to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user is in charge of watching their own user licenses usage. The system needs lots of hand holding to work efficiently. Not sure if any of my enhancements every get acknowledged like other companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work order management and warehouse inventory. Going paperless to be able to find problems and improvement areas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Product does lots of the basic problems. But it does have room to grow compared to other ones.
