Great tool with excellent support

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to set up a customer journey visually and see exactly what I'm doing, and then test it. I haven't had the chance yet to explore all the various features but sure it'll do far more than I need. Also the live chat has been a godsend when I've been working on it in the middle of the night and I can't get something to work, they've held my hand and taken me through everything step by step. The pricing is great for me too as I'm building up my database and currently don't have that many contacts or visitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm used to Mailchimp so perhaps I'd like the newsletter aspect made more prominent with stronger visual design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've recently started my full time private practice and wanted to build a contact database so that I can offer cheaper alternatives to people in distress who can't afford my 121 therapy. So I'm capturing contact details and sending out regular news, updates, research and my offerings which include online groups, psychology education sessions, book reviews etc.

Take the free trial and play with it.

Autopilot Newbie - Very satisfied!

What do you like best about the product?
The journey canvas is brilliant! It actually inspires the entire team to get involved throughout the process by offering a user-friendly space for fun, creativity and productivity. I love that you we can add notes and ideas right on the canvas and we can all be part of the journey as it unfolds.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hours of the free tutorial session are slightly inconvenient, they only take place in late hours of the night in my neck of the woods. That being said, they do send you a recording of the tutorial after, so I was able to catch it that way, I really can't complain! I also wish there was a little more depth in the Salesforce integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our mailers, learning where we need to revamp our online marketing. Learning more about what customers are looking at on our website and how to improve traffic to our site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the trial before purchasing as well as the free tutorials that they offer on the website, this helped me a great deal before and after the purchasing. I like that I am a new user (literally just opened Autopilot for the first time a few days ago), and after a few short video tutorials, I was able to create my first journey with success! I was under a tight deadline and with the Live chat window, I was able to get very quick and clear support where I was stuck. I am impressed with the support, tutorials and easy-to-use nature of Autopilot.

What do you like best about the product?
Wonderful tool, easy to use, intuitive, great design, so many features and great customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Never had any trouble and nothing particular I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am automating the sales funnel implementing emails, sms and integrated services. The main benefit is a sales machine that works even when I am sleeping.

The collaborative ability and visual layout. Simple Salesforce integration.

The email design tool could be a bit better.

Collaborating with a team in another country. Organizing journeys made a huge difference in site traffic.

What do you like best about the product?
interface, customer support is awesome, platform is fast enough, Australian technology, heads up feature is cool and super easy to implement
What do you dislike about the product?
email template management, I believe a lot of email in our first campaign went to spam folders, stopping a journey, you cannot restart, have to recreate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
email marketing is first issue, we are a startup just launching so moving into campaigns with landing pages next, beneifts difficult to see right now apart from fact I could not have done what I did without it
Recommendations to others considering the product:
some of the terminology i a bit foreign to me but then I am not a digital marketing person so maybe it is industry jargon. Product at the outset is weirdly constructed but with the online training and cust support team I figured it out fast enough

Easy to use marketing automation software

What do you like best about the product?
The UI. After using Marketo, Autopilot's UI is a breath of fresh air.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the ability to add HTML templates is a boon, they have some limitations. Despite repeated requests, you have no way to view HTML emails in a browser window like MailChimp, plus when templates exceed a certain size, Autopilot acts buggy and templates refuse to save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Form capture from the website, nurture journeys and newsletters. Autopilot has made it extremely easy to set up these journeys and the best part is that even if anything fails to work, you can quickly go back to the drawing board and get started once again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use software, works really well if you are in the SMB/mid-market space, enterprises though might want to look for a more comprehensive solution.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual canvas where you set up your journeys and the freedom of creativity it allows. The other apps it connects to make the options for personalising comms journeys endless. I also like that the support has improved over the last 12 months and there's now a quicker response time to questions and issues are they arise. Their customer service is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
Knowing the best and quickest way to set up a journey to achieve a goal - as there are many options to choose from, sometimes it can be overwhelming, especially if you're new to the product and still need to learn it. Sometimes you end up just "sticking with what you know", and therefore lose the potential and capability the product was designed for. It's great but sometimes feels like a beast you need to tame - and understanding will only come with time and the more often you're in and use the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think because we are dealing with some legacy issues and still figuring out how best to achieve our business outcomes and goals using AutoPilot (driving brand awareness and converting potential leads into supporters of our organisation) and also best practice and using the product the way it was intended (for personalised comms journeys, not just email blast outs), we are still to fully realise the benefits.

Awesomely easy

What do you like best about the product?
The canvas for designing your marketing journeys is fantastic. It's as easy as drag and drop. You can integrate with awesome affordable apps, like Pipedrive and Typeform. I also like the fact that a Segment event can trigger an automated journey. It was the decisive feature in our case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the UI can improve a bit. Settings pages for field mapping and similar tasks can improve. Also, adding Autopilot as a source in Segment is kind of expensive. Other companies, like Customer.io, do it for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating our marketing funnel. Now every user that signs up in our app is automatically added to the CRM, tagged and emailed according to his/her behavior.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great service. You'd be better when using the tools they integrate natively with, like Typeform, Pipedrive and Twilio.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Autopilot allows me to create a marketing automation campaign through a visual canvas. The platform is also full of integrations to other services, allowing it to expand beyond the basic email automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some important features pending such as the ability to allow contacts to manage their own email preferences across different lists. The integration with different salesforce objects is also something that is missing. Only contacts, accounts and leads can be viewed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing automation, email campaigns and data sync across different platforms.

It's a good product at a good price.

What do you like best about the product?
Lovely user interface, very intuitive design and easy to use.
Drag and drop email builder is great and made my life much easier.
Journey build is relatively straightforward but some more video training would have been helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tech issues involving triggers and automation, not ideal having chat-only support. Doesn't give us the same granularity with segmenting as Salesforce. Reporting is very basic and clunky - it's hard to compare to emails or run a report for an entire month that properly displays each email and it's performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clean design, good for adhoc emails.
Very easy to use and good for segmenting our dynamic audiences.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a fantastic system - user interface is clean and intuitive. A few small tricks and tips go a long way to making someone an expert user. Could use some more training/documentation.
