Email Marketing Platform for Beginners!

What do you like best about the product?
I like having my own custom email templates
AI subject line feedback helps me think of different ways of phrasing subject lines
Delayed resend (e.g. if they don't open, resend in three days).
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish journeys could have multiple entry points (we used to do this on Intercom).
Editing custom templates is cumbersome.
I wish I could save some emails (i.e. my own, and another test email) to a drop down so I wouldn't have to type them every time I wanted to send a test.
There isn't a lot of learning resources to understand reports, dashboards, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us build automated email flows so that once users fall into lead magnets we can send them a string of emails to hopefully convert them to a paid product

What do you like best about the product?
I find its contact management useful and I also find it easy to send email sequences all using one tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needed a bit of searching at the start to explore some functionalities but once you're used to it, it feels way easier

What do you like best about the product?
Ortto is easy to use, intuitive, and enables me to act on decisions formed in my mind and not in my heart.

At this time I have yet to find a serious problem with Ortto.

What do you like best about the product?
The design is high level and balanced on all the expectations you can have from a product. Whether you are a developer, designer or sales person, you will definitely feel that things are done right on Ortto.

The API is well documented, the mail builder allows you to make meticulous designs that show your company's seriousness. In short, you can feel that all the features are seriously thought out with an active listening to their customers.

Apart from providing features, Ortto's strength is to offer concrete marketing processes in which they support you with a range of turnkey tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
An excellent product like Ortto inevitably comes at a higher price point. While it's not an affordable solution, it's not excessively priced either. However, their offers are somewhat static, and it would be beneficial to have more flexibility in the choice of options and volumes. For example, I would be willing to pay more for a more customized package that includes only the features I need, rather than a package that includes features I don't use.

Overall, Ortto's pricing may be a bit restrictive for some businesses, but for those that can afford it, the value it provides is worth the investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ortto provides us with intuitive visibility into our users' behavioral patterns, enabling us to perform quick analyses and build a solid customer database. Additionally, Ortto allows us to stay in touch with our customers and keep them updated on new offerings and product upgrades. The recent addition of chat functionality offers more opportunities for customer retention and eliminates the need for separate tools.

An easy to use campaign automation and segmentation tool

What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which you can segment the individuals in your larger database on the front end is a big plus. Additionally, the connection to Census on the backend is extremely useful for my purposes as Director of Data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it reminds me of another tool we use, which I am not a fan of, Pendo, on the frontend user experience. It is simple enough to use the pieces on the frontend, but feels clunky at time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has needed a platform with which to automate some of our customer emails and do so in a targeted fashion. To do so, we were in need of a tool which was capable of connecting to our database, which we do through Census, and can get all of our user data imported, in the fashion we need in a quick and efficient manner.

Very basic and not great

What do you like best about the product?
If you're a tiny business and you need an automation platform, you could try looking at Autopilot (rebranded to Ortto last year I believe). The canvas editor used to build email flows is fairly intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no form builder which makes thinks rather painful and you have to rely on third party landing page builders like Instapage. Their customer support is terrible; if you have issues, they will send you to help articles that don't really address the issue. The flows can be klunky and folks can still receive emails after they have opted out of or replied to a campaign. If. your business has some money, go with a Marketo or a HubSpot. You will quickly outgrow Ortto.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use it for lead capture and customer email campaigns. We used it for prospecting once upon a time but there are far better tools out there like Outreach for those purposes. We will be leaving Ortto relatively soon in favor of a Marketo or HubSpot-type automation platform.

Wish there was a deeper Salesforce integration and more ability to limit non-business user email inputs in forms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inexpensive, easy to use email marketing tool. It makes building email journeys and email campaigns very straightforward.

What do you like best about the product?
Drawing journey's is my favorite part about the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Always feeling like I'm breaking things when I go in and look for information. I have had teammates tell me I activated or deactivated some campaign and I totally didn't know how I even did it so I feel like I'm walking on eggshells in there some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a visual person and this helps me see what the heck I'm doing. I want emails to go out for specific people, at specific times, in order, and based on if they tap something in it and the drawing aspect shows me that and I feel confident in making my strategy real in there.
